No worries, glad I can help. I was going to build this project on my 335i, it got lemon'ed and my parts were already on order so I just went through with it. I'll be changing up the engine soon though

I think he said a V10.. beeast. As long as you got the funds for it then it's plausible. Literally 90% of my money goes to my car but hopefully it'll be worth it one day

Do you have an intake in your car Jason?
I've been debating on one, but don't want to spend much cuz I know power gains or anything of that sort is not much for NA51

Alex, do you have a N52 or a N51? James is right. I'm currently borrowing Jason's Gruppe-M intake paired with K&N, I think? Lol. The car does feel a bit torque-ier and I love the sound of the intake under full throttle.

N51!! I have nothing under my hood except my powerbox. I still need to replace my spark plugs. Do you replace ignition coils along with plugs? I don't know what else there is to do for N52/51...I think I saw LSD iirc on TurnerMotorsport?

Iczz is selling Simota intakes for faily cheap, iirc. Check the n/a section for reviews on the intakes. As for the LSD, no, you don't need it and it's not worth the money -- at least not for our cars.

Simota CB II sounds awesome and it's cheap but I want the Simota V2, I wonder if they sound and have the same gains in hp.

LSD for more power to the wheels! but not worth it for daily driving, wasting money.

Not necessarily more power but a better distribution of power.

Yeah, isn't there two Simota intakes? I see a v2 and cbII. And yeah, I only asked about the LSD since I know it distribute the power to the wheels without the factory restrictions. I'm just going to look into an intake and maybe the AA tune to go with my AA exhaust.

I'd say wait until you get all your performance mods in then get the tune. I'm almost there. Should be getting it March-ish if anyone wants to come. I can ask Mike of SVC who does the in-house AA tune if we can get a GB price
