Personally i'd go with coilovers. They tend to run smoother than a spring/shock combo. The Eibach FSD's are nice but they are a bit finicky as i have heard. Although you may not adjust the height on a CO setup, you can adjust the dampening/rebounding which will make your ride alot smoother. I'm currently only on h&r sport springs with my zsp shocks, currently waiting to get a CO setup soon.

good luck!

For me, ride quality is the most important since i'll have a baby in the car from time to time.....are coil overs much smoother?

What about H&R's with Koni Yellows set to the softest setting?

What's up with all the drama on the forum today?...I dont mean to add to the feul or anything, but personally it's hard for me to imagine anyone will have beef with Long, he is exactly what Andy said, a great down to earth modfather who's cool with everyone...

I remember when he showed me a glimpse of the E90.5 project that they were about to unveal in M.O.M, dude spoke with the type of passion about the things he does that turned me into a mod addict...just my thought...

For sure.....do you ever go to taraweeh? I go to the Irvine one from time to time...

My last car (E46) was on H&R's/Bilsteins. It was alright, but nothing like stock (more bumpy).

Hmm well if you're gonna have a baby in the car, the eibach/fsd setup is pretty damn smooth over bumps. The drop is just a tad higher than the h&r sports.

Personally, i've been in cars with h&r's and coilovers. Coilovers take my vote just because of the dampening adjustability.

As far as the koni yellows, I haven't been in a car with that yet, but there are reviews on them on the board. If i remember correctly, some say the shocks didn't help much.

Yeah, that's what I heard at first.....i'll never track the car or anything, I just want to close the gap between the wheel/fender without sacrificing ride quality.
