While getting my battery fitted, wandered into the local auto shop who are having a Christmas sale

Picked this up, 35% off

Replaces the set of crap I've been using, which can now find a good home in the bin lol

Christmas surely is the season for upgrading your tools

Had one of the diffusers on the AE shake loose and rattle around in the headlight, so had to man up and pop open the headlight to remove it

10 mins in 100C oven and you can pry them open, another 10 mins and you can seal them up again....

Is only a temporary fix until I can get it done properly...

Beautiful day in Melb today. Best of all got to hang out with Vince on a marathon maintenance day... did a walnut blast, replaced coolant hoses, installed a new HPFP and starter motor, super washed engine and under body (so clean now) fixed a pesky oil leak and coded new battery...

Big day... Big thanks to Vince at Yoda Motorsports, for pulling the car to bits and putting it back together again.... LEGEND

Pic 1 - Yoda motorsports
Pic 2 - Engine stripped down
Pic 3 - Vtl walnut blasting
Pic 4 - Old hose / New hose
Pic 5 - New starter motor and HPFP installed
Pic 6 - All done

Every time I go on your build page, there's always something new and I'm getting envious of your build, the car not only looks mint, but clearly well looked after and has the balls to back it up. One day I will get it to this level.

Whilst laying in bed upon waking up, do you ponder on what wheels you're going to wear on the 335i each day?

Thanks for your kind words JL, have had lots of help from everyone here on the forum, be it advice, providing parts or helping with installs (cough cough Vince).... Best part of the build is by far the community. Great meets, cruises and track days... as a bonus you also end up with an awesome ride lol.... Hope you can get along to some of the events in the new year JL
