Don't put off the belt and tensioner too long... with that leak they are undoubtedly contaminated. Did you do the MM flange when you had it off?
Yes I am also replacing the MM flange but waiting for my o-ring to arrive. It look very damaged/dirty and I think that's what led to my coolant tank being brown/dirty.

Oh good. I don't know where you are at on the DIY continuum, so wanted to throw it out there as a suggestion!

for the fan situation ; 328 got 400w radiator fan, and the 335 got the 600w fan.

According to one thread, the electrical circuit is the same.

So I cut back the connectors and simple solder + shrink wrap. Look OEM.

328 can have the 600w , if they had the towing pack and/or hot climate version.

unsure if realoem.com can allow you to check wiring gauge size, fuses for the 600 watt conversion.

wire gauge is the same.

Now the fuse probably not.

I'm not here yet, still have ton to do before the 1st drive.

Also debating if I should go single bank O2 sensor, Im not even sure if its doable with a back en flash + JB4.

I know the car is not tuned, but on the video you can see that spit fires on cold start from the O2 holes. dont wonder why those O2 fails non stop.

Tried to get a O2 restrictor, does NOT fit

The turbo return oil line is in the way. Even no spacers, its tight fit.
Waiting for a ''modular'' 45° spacer.

I took advantage of the Black Friday Sale at VMR and ordered a set of v703's. Unfortunately, the rears are backordered and will be shipped in March or April. Hello clean CSL look and goodbye to the previous owners gift of curb rash.

Booked the car in for an oil change and to have my indy look at a noise I noticed recently (thread here). Not sure if it’s normal, but if it isn’t, I’d like to know before I go abroad for the next month.

Today I paid blessings to my E90 as last week she sustained minor bumper damage after some creature bolted out in front of me, made it across the road then doubled back only to be struck by my front end at about 60mph midway off a highway exit ramp.

Startled me so got a little squirrely as it was raining but whatever it was cost me about $600 and its life. Now we're both screwed.

Missed my appointment today - meetings just kept piling up today. Going tomorrow when it will be 25F outside. If the noise isn’t anything major I’ll be getting my heater core flushed too. Pretty cold for lukewarm heat in the passenger side.

Did test drive a red C350 coupe not far from my work. What an excellent car, 9/10ths an E90 and much much better than the F30. Steering is a bit loose on center though. So like I said, hopefully the noise isn’t something major, or I might be making a Benzworld account in my near future

Took it to a shop (because I still don't have a lift and can't get the right angle on some things via jack stands) to have the bolt that holds the left rear upper control arm to the knuckle re-installed. It had fallen entirely out (trapped by the sway bar linkage, so it didn't fall off the car) and I could not rethread it.

The shop installed a new bolt that they threaded through the knuckle and then put a nut on the end. Won't be coming off again.

Why it came off to begin with is a mystery that I won't be losing a lot of sleep over. I'm just happy that there's no more knocking noise from the rear suspension and my rear wheel doesn't wobble to and fro when I yank on it.

getting ready for a cross country christmas trip - Seattle to Dallas

Started today on the small stuff:
head light washers won't retract (fail)
Windshield washers won't squirt (fail)
Vaccum (win)

After the parts come in next week, move on to:
Transmission fluid and filter change
Transfer case fluid change
Replace upper coolant hose and flush coolant system
Oil pan gasket replace and oil change

The next two weekends are gonna be tons of fun

Took it in - my Indy’s conclusion is the noise is due to a very slightly worn motor mount on the passenger side. But it’s so minor they couldn’t even hear it in the engine bay itself…

Heater core flush seemed to work- heat is even on both sides. No guarentee (obviously) on how long it will last. But all’s well for now!

That being said, I’m considering posting it for sale. Just don’t drive enough. Just a feeler though, I’ll put a post up in the classified section.

Drivers rear door is once again not unlocking unless manually on blue. I just replaced the actuator a couple months ago and it was doing just fine.. time to check wiring

Was going to drive the 330 today but the power steering sounded dry. I think the cold temps have created a leak letting air into the system. I found lots of bubbles in the reservoir. Yippeee!

Started on my rear seat delete. Debating what material to use. I am going to have the OEM folding parts too.

This + cowl and other stuff took more than 70lbs and I can definitely tell a difference.
