I got a few things in the mail from BMW today...
![]() One of which was this letter about BMW partnering with the United States Olympic Committee and how my "high-performance companion began life many years ago as the vision of an enthusiastic BMW engineer or designer." ![]() But then, inside, they also enclosed a special litho rendering of my vehicle. It is inside a matted folder and everything - with an embossed logo on the cover. And, here is what the rendering looks like inside: ![]() Granted, I already have several renderings that I downloaded online. But, this is kinda special - being that it is an actual rendering from BMW. I don't know if they are sending these out to everyone, or just for particular BMW models or what. I just thought it was kinda ![]() |

I got the same rendering in the mail a coupe weeks ago just of a coupe. Seems like it came right around the 1 year mark of me owning the car.

for those with the e93... have you swapped out the fog bulbs with anything else?? maybe with HID or another set of bulbs that are in the 4100kK~6000K color range?? what bulbs did you use?
anybody here recommend any bulbs with the white/bluish color thats similar to our angel eyes? thank you for your input.

I did not take any before and afters since he had already done so. So far I am happy as it got rid of the boring factory color and match them close to the factory HID's. I do have the fog-light failure error on the dash. It seems to go away after driving a bit. I will have to see how annoying it is. You could go with the resistors. I decided no to since they say they get really hot. I also plan to learn coding and could take care of the error when I learn. I say so far it is a worthwhile mod. If you cannot find the post let me know and I will find it for you. |

awesome! thank you sir.
if it isn't too much trouble for you.. would you post some pictures of how it look at night? how much brighter are they compared to the stock bulbs? because the stock bulbs do make a slight difference but I would like them to be much much brighter so I can use them at night instead of keeping the high beams on (during night canyon runs). thank you again for the link and the reply! cheers ![]()

That's all well and fine until you actually go to use them in fog. Good luck with that.

I am not sure if they really give that much more light since they are LED's. I have not taken them for a drive. Lucky you that you get to blast around canyons. I am in Florida so it is mostly cosmetic for me as we don't really get much fog nor have use for driving lights in the city. You may want to see what higher light options would be? Perhaps a true HID kit? |

yeah, was thinking the same, since they are LED, probably just super bright for 2-5 feet. but nothing really for distance. no worries please take your time! Oh at night.. around 12-1am no cars top down at about 50 degrees and the seat heater on. it really is "bliss" I love it for cosmetic purposes too. I'll post a picture of what I actually am looking for, later on, it's a bit more blue than OEM which I don't mind.
HID kit - yeah, it is another option, a $100+ option ![]() thank you again mmorrismm!

Love mine, here's my summer and winter setups.
2012! I have added the carbon fiber trunk lip, best purchase ever... Completely changed the look of the car. Next I want to add 15mm spacers to my winters. I have Dinan stage 2. Love the power... Although I tried the M power app and didn't get the results I was looking for, not sure what I did wrong. For summer I'm looking to get out of my run flats and get the Michelin pilot super sports, anybody tired em in 275mm? I really want to modify the body some more... Any ideas? |
