I don't know if this helps, but there is a XDF here:

This looks like Hassmachine's work.

Correction, I managed to look at this file in more detail and it does not have his signature. It's probably from someone else. In any case Tunerpro is limited and can not import all of the folders found in this ROM. It may or may not have all of the maps you are looking for.

I don't know if he's on this forum, but there's a member sda2 on other bmw forums, he's the one who generated this xdf.

Apparently the tunerpro limitation is no longer an issue as of 5.00.9816

Hi, i know that there is no damos/xdf for msv80, but maybe someone have his own custom? Even partial would be great, i wana to increase throttle response and maybe some temperature settings.

hi guys,

after crashed my original msv70 i bought a used one and flashed it with winkfp to right zusb 7518220 (ecu hw was same). Winkfp was successfully flashed the module and updated AIF. The ZUSB before was 7559500.

Now i get these "2AB4 - DME, interner Fehler, RAM-Checksumme".

Anyone has an idea to fix it? I think i have all tools (tools for reading/writing bdm mode too).

I think it's indeed the problem with driving and driving since for now, the files I used yesterday only gives me a fault once during driving.

I didn't try the EU file. I tried the stock version and the first 3.0si US file. that last file gives me the error more than 5 times. The adjusted file from yesterday only give me once during driving. for now it looks like it fixed. But I don't know how end why.

What will I noticed with the more aggressive EU map. hoger torque at lower rpms? better fuel consumption? I know that EU cars are less emission cars that US variants.

I still want to try the files if that helps. The file I am running now looks fine.

How come this error is disappeared now? Anyone have an explanation?
I am having the exact same errors as you, but I have used the 7623588 3.0i to 3.0si file on Bimmerlabs. I get the same errors, but everything seems perfectly fine otherwise. Would you be able to share the file used that fixed your kombi and fuel level codes? I also have an early 2006 model so it looks like the hunch about earlier models being affected is correct. It looks like Bimmerlabs is down and has been for a while or I'd try other files myself.

What an awesome thread! After reading it all there’s still something missing (or maybe I missed it), the power class byte location for both MSV80 and MSD80/81. Could you guys share them please? Much appreciated!

He is now

What could be interesting is a solution for the 1024kgh limit on MSV70 and MSS70.

In theory we came up with a solution to make use of 2048kgh which is basically the same on all MPC petrol ECUs from MS45 to MS*70.

That does not solve the 510nm hardlimit though.

Firstly big shout out to Hass, Rjhal, Terra and whomever else I missed... you guys are the real MVP!
Also appreciate the YouTube video E92William; lucky mine went smoothly like yours without any FatalErrors

I got this done on my Aussie MY09 E82 125i last weekend.
Unlocked some N52 goodness, super stoked with my 130i Coupe

My write up here --> https://www.1addicts.com/forums/show...0&postcount=11

Dumbed it down... might have some additional checks and explanation that might help guide you in the right direction!

Like where in INPA are the values you need to look for, which of the 3 stock files do you flash and in what order? The other thing is that there is a MAF-less file to flash. I've read mixed things about whether it should be flashed or not. I would be keeping my stock MAF. And does the CPU tamper code cause you to fail state regulated emissions testing?

Pleasure! Yeah, I was researching for about 4 weeks trying to understand how it all fits together... I'm super grateful that the boys have made the RSA Delete and Tunes available to us.

Good luck with the install and the flash; hope it goes smoothly!

Lucky I didn't have to revert back to stock, but I did some preparation... just in case!

I'm not sure of the steps off the top of my head, but it'd be roughly -->
Plug laptop into your car
Position2
Open up INPA:
Should have 2x Black Dots
<Select Car Model> (See https://www.e90post.com/forums/showp...05&postcount=4)
<Select your engine>
Then go to Identification and then User Information

I'm no expert, but this should provide your existing:
--> Part Number = aka HW# *.0pa (from Identification)
--> Assembly = aka ZB# (from User Info)
--> Calibration dataset = aka *.0da (from User Info)

"Calibration dataset" is always "Assembly"-1 OR "*0da" is always "ZB#" -1

Then as per my writeup, you can then just open up your engine data file in your Datens location using Notepad:
SP-Daten\E89\data\MSV80\MSV80.dat and confirm the rows that have the Assembly (ZB#) and Calibration dataset (*.0da) that matches your HW (*.0pa)

Once you've got that, you should be able to just use one of the Stock batch files from Bimmerlabs... If not, edit one and copy across the corresponding file(s) (from your datens).
*** NOTE - You can edit the Bimmerlabs Stock files (*.CTL and *.BAT) using notepad to see which files are being referenced (*.PRG, *.IPO, *0pa and *.0da)
I think it's just 1x *.0pa, followed by the 1x *.0da
Interesting to note: after successfully running the Bimmerlabs 125 to 130 tune, INPA reports that my HW changed from 7594483 to 7602220

Are there complete instructions on this process anywhere? I'm still completely lost. I got my 3 values out of INPA:
Part Number: 7581123
Assembly: 7580896
Calibration: 7580895

But I do not have a MSV80.dat file anywhere on my computer. How do you obtain it? When I look through the .dat it will help me figure out which of the 3 stock flashes I am supposed to use? When flashing to stock, do I just use the zip in the HW# column, followed by the zip in the ZB# column? What is the .bin file for in the ZB# column?

Did you already download the Datens files?
https://www.bimmerfest.com/threads/s...lable.1435787/

After you extract it, it should be in that location (assuming your car has a MSV80)

Ah yeah, I did, but after downloading and importing the .prg and .ipo files into winkfp, I deleted the rest of the download. I downloaded the daten files again and will take a look.

I ran the RSA delete and tune successfully though yesterday! I'm in the process of doing my valve cover gasket and 3 stage intake manifold upgrade today. Can't wait to see how it drives afterwards.

See screenshot, I had a quick squiz in the MSV80.dat file and couldn't find references to your stock files anywhere... I was thinking that you did the INPA read incorrectly!
Part Number: 7581123

You went ahead without a rollback plan? What a boss!! haha
Congrats man, happy to hear it all went smoothly!
  • How does it feel even without the 3SIM?
  • Did you do an INPA read after, any codes or CEL?
Love to see another successful flash tune!
Huge shoutout to all the amazing work from HassMachine, Terra and Rjahl

I only drove it a short drive around the block real quick, just to make sure it started and would drive normally. It seemed to be more alive and pull harder. After I got back home, I checked for codes, and had 3. The CPU modified code, and a code for each of the missing DISA valves. I finished the valve cover today and started on the manifold swap. I will have the manifold in place tomorrow hopefully. My battery has been disconnected for awhile, so hopefully my dme will relearn everything it needs to.

I'll let you know tomorrow if my Part Number changed.

I personally use a very very similar map on my N54 and it works wonders if someone wants to tweak their burble to their liking. I can't verify it for anyone as my friends car never starts after flashing the RSA Delete and tune file afterwards.

ip_mff_cor_opm_1_1 (1_2, 2_1 and 2_2) are the fuel scalar maps for those running extensive mods and may or may not be useful.

For anyone that wants less nannies in the software, I would disable DROF, lc_tq_iga_inh, lc_tq_lim_inh (general), lc_tq_lim_inh_fast, lc_tq_lim_inh_slow. Setting those toggles to 1 should disable it.

I would also recommend simulating the 1M throttle maps by changing the torque request maps and copying the 1M values and breakpoints and reducing the throttle correction (ip_fac_pv_bas_cor_transmission) to 0 on MT (reduce numbers by half for a good starting point on automatic cars as they get real twitchy at 0)

I can't provide any guarantees as the only MSV70 I have access to doesn't even start up after BimmerLabs batch flashing. I have tested out all of these maps on my MSD80 though.

How to get such burbles when changing gear in an automatic transmission? Can you suggest which values will be a good start? msv70
