Great video Sock. Out of curiosity - did you ever do a walk through or vid of the differences the NBT retrofit gave you over the CIC?

Thanks mate. Yes did a DIY and posted here in the E90post DIY section.
Main difference is updated graphics, faster operation and a few extra features like the sports gauges Is an expensive, complicated mod especially changing over the old back lit screen to the new LCD screen... could not have done it without the help of my friend Vince (Vtl) here on the forums

Link to DIY below

Vid doesn't list all 100 mods, because I only talk about the current mods on the car and not the numerous mods that have since been removed or replaced... Enjoy

Great vid, glad to have been a part of the build! Youtube sensation in the making there

Thanks so much New. Lots of people seem to be selling up lately, probably because some of the cars are getting close to ten years old now. I often question putting money into a car closing in on 150,000 km but it runs well, is great fun to drive and the community is fantastic thanks to people like you. I hope my build gives others a few ideas for their customizing their own rides. A few more mods and it will probs be done... hahaha probably

Body kit would look nice JL, imho for the expense and reliability issues with aftermarket twin turbos they are not great bang for buck... when cruising with the guys running stock turbos on our drive days, we all tend to keep up with each other, especially in the twisties. Vtl and DrJ are running stock turbos and their cars are very quick ..... not that Im saying aftermarkets don't deliver gains, because they do, but in everyday city driving the gap between stock and aftermarkets is not huge.... now a big single turbo, that's another matter lol

I think running pures over stock would definitely be more mid to top end power, city driving wouldn't really see much I guess only because you couldn't really open it up. FBO should see around 270-280 rwkw, with pures stage 2+ and stage 2/3 lpfp, should see over 350rwkw on 98 and more with E85 mix. With Pures you wouldn't need to push them as hard as the stockers to get the same power level, plus there should be a bit in reserve if you needed the power later on.

Lastly, there's the option of going ST, just like many RB and 2JZ owners have done, the N54 has followed the ST path, I wouldn't mind running a Precision 6266 top mount BB kit. DOC Race or JP Works looks mint !
