You realize even after Stage 2 is out its going to be in beta form, i hope they address the issue that people are having with v300.

COBB is testing new maps on some cars. But for those who are testing these maps, there have been updates as far as I can tell.

Until there is a finalized version, the maps won't move on to beta. And even then you will have private and public beta. And after all that then the maps become public.

So just because some people have more powerful maps doesn't mean stage 2 is out.

I should be getting some new stage 2 maps today. I am assuming if all is peachy this will be the official beta relase for those that want. Key word assuming.

It's not only Clap that has the Stage 2 beta maps. Others (not me) are testing it as well...

beta maps are locked to specific cobb units serial numbers - you cant share them

There's a bunch of people running stage 2 maps and looking for issues. Ive said this a couple of times before but very soon you will be able to load them up yourself.

My map version are locked to my ap's serial number, so it cannot go on any other ap. Thats smart on cobbs part to limit problems. It actually works too

The first official launch of the AP was in january, personally I think it's amazing the quality and power they've been able to develop with less than 8 months in the market. I mean Dinan, Vishnu, ESS, GIAC, and JB have had years to get to where they are now and Cobb is arguably superior to them in many aspects. I'm anxious to get a hold of stage 2 as well, but I also want a quality product for my BMW. With that said, an official update from cobb actually detailing what's going would be nice.

Sorry if this answer is in here somewhere, but I can't find it. Are there alternate throttle maps for the v3.00 maps yet? If so, where can I find and download them? I've been all over the Cobb site and can't find anything.

Couldn't agree more. It'll make purchasing a FMIC much more exciting. Feels like I'm throwing darts in the dark. ETS, AMS, Helix, AA, ER, and many more to choose from. However, they replied stating that they are testing various IC and just about anyone would do. But I want the one BEST one for the tune
