http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...84&hg=24&fg=15 The fins are too long and would need machining down which is what I did. I really was lucky to find this one used for $300 USD. You fellows over in UK could possibly find this pan used (new $1500 USD!) more easily. See links below. post #159, page 8, pan when I first got it and had it machined. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showpo...&postcount=159 post #179, page 9, after I got it installed. It appears to hold same amount of fluid as the plastic pan. I thought it would have held a little more. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showpo...&postcount=179 Whole thread but it is 9 pages long. This is why I gave you the single page links to make it fast. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...ans+pan&page=9 Last edited by BB_cuda; 03-14-2016 at 08:08 PM.. |

How does it all connect up to each other, as in the DAB-G and the 500s unit? Also can you plug a standard iPod USB cable into the dension 500s extension cable that has the USB and AUX on it or do you need the specific cable dension do? (Round yellow plug to apple/iPod dock connector)

Yes you can plug the ipod into the extension cable. It all works flawlessly particularly after the latest firmware update. |

Thanks, just had a look at the website. One last question, how quick is it to change sources on the Denison, iPod/DAB? And do the dab stations change pretty quick?
Have heard the Denison units can be really slow.

Not slow at all. You can change stations from the wheel controls and also by scrolling through the station list using idrive if you have it. It's very quick.

I have idrive yes. It was the DAB-U USB unit I was told was slow so maybe it's better on the DAB-G unit that plugs into the 500S.
Thanks for the help, appreciate it.

So I'm finally back home. Everything looks so green!
My body shop have been busy while I was away.... Roof and rails painted gloss black including shark fin. New windscreen and surround. Car literally looks like new externally now. Next is new brakes all round then time to start on interior transformation including new flat bottomed steering wheel and gloss black interior trim.
