Does calibration change the pic a lot, because it's quite expensive at £200? Am thinking of getting the 1TB yes, the C Chassis one which is supposed to be quieter... |

night and day IMHO - you can do a basic cal. yourself.
If you've got some patience. Some of the Pixar blurays come with a calibration kit ie colour filters etc. have a go yourself there's about a million guides on the tinterweb. I ended up buying a colour meter and some software and doing it myself. Makes a huge difference Infact I'm at mates house just now who has the same TV (not calibrated) - his ps4 looks crap, pixelated, far to bright and loads of detail missing in the picture |

I got the 500GB and will just buy an external Hardrive if required. Also note the 1TB is slightly noisier than the 500GB - and I find the 500gb already annoying noise wise Hahha.

I'm buying the TV today 500GB will probably be enough for me tbh. But what i read was the b chassis is the original and weighs 2.8kg, the c chassis is the newer quieter one that weighs 2.5kg, but comes in both 500GB and 1TB. |

A bit of an update.
I couldn't resist Jammy78's black m sport headliner so visited him today and he fitted it for me. It looks a million times better than the grey, i love it. Jammy did a wonderful job, very professional. He also tempted me with some m sport kick plates which i grabbed off him as well. Interior is looking premium now as it should V: i have the 2 button panel in grey, send me a pm if you're interested. |

I'm loving my Sony tbh. Just need to find a decent corner cabinet with a tv bracket. Car wise my car had its MOT this week. Failed on a rear ball joint but got it replaced and it passed. Apparantly its a common thing that fails? Main thing is i am happy the MOT station passed it with the dpf pipe in place |

Been a bit quiet the last few months but recently got some new PSS 295 tyres fitted which look much better on 10" rim than 275. I had to raise the rear height 5mm as there was some rubbing. Its much better now but catches on very hard cornering, so will get the arches rolled.
Handling wise i just fitted a diff lockdown plate from member vwetish from n54tech. Before on launches (and even WOT from low speeds) the car would be going towards the left and i always had to move the steering wheel to correct, didn't give me confidence. Took it out just now and its totally different. The steering wheel can be left dead straight on WOT. Feels much better and a lot more confidence inspiring. I have a feeling it has also improved the rear skipping sideways over bumps, not totally but perhaps reduced it a bit, i will know more after more driving. Also potentially building a garage in the next few months for the car, it will be between the size of a single and double, can't wait! |

Have a good look at the rear arches with the wheels removed and you'll see where the rubbing is. You may find (as I did) that you only need a small area towards the rear of the arch to be rolled.

Firstly buddy nice one on the diff plate. In fact I've used your recommendation and bought one too LOL.
And damn 295 tyres bloody hell that's wide. I would definitely check the rearward most edge near the bumper and bend it back a touch as Phil said it's usually this tbh. It was with mine too and after a breaker bar was used to just bend that slight edge back and sorted.

Blimey a 295! Wish I could get that on mine. I had rubbing on my 265 and had to get the arches rolled for those. Was on rubbing on the near side rear. Despite me and the battery being on the offside. So strange!

Yeah 295 is wide but it does look good. Will be getting the arches rolled for sure next week or so. What are opinions on flaring? |

I've got a Quaiffe but hoping the will also aide. I'm not a big fan of flaring the OE arches. I think you lose the lines a little and tends to not look original from previous friends cars that have been done. If you only need to roll the inside lip then that should be fine. I'm running 265's on 9.5j with et30 (et35 but with a 5mm spacer) and I get rubbing. Not sure how you are managing it lol.

Yeah mine was hermes too couldn't track but no worries will get there. Very easy to fit literally 4 bolts. Let us know what you think as you already have a diff.
Spoke to archenemy and he said flaring wont help as you cant flare rear bumper area, so i will just go for rolling. If its still bad then i might get higher spring rate rear springs....again! Just really want to keep this tyre/rim combo as it looks great. Edit, my rear ride height is probably higher than yours so that may help. |

I had my arches rolled in about April but still had some rubbing on dips in the road etc. Looked like the wheel was catching where the body transitions to the plastic bumper, but a bit more rolling last week sorted it. Made me cringe every time the car caught the bodywork. Found myself kinda jumping in the dips to help the car over them

I might give arch attack a call actually. You rate their work? They do seem cheaper than archenemy, but isn't experience what counts? This will be my first time so not too sure about the whole process. This is what the tyre looks like at the mo: |
