Pricing seems a little off. I mean a lot of the other exhaust out there are going for 300-400 off msrp, but you only take off 200?

The RennArt exhaust which also sounds very good is 995 shipped for christs sake and they are using better materials..

something just doesnt add up to me.. ?

Thats what all of us were saying. We were hoping price would be closer to 1k

Our materials are NOT inferior to any other system. The reason the price is not 300-400 off MSRP because we decided to make our normal price less than the standard 1800-1900 normal cost, so the relative discount from normal pricing is semi-irrelevant in that respect. We're just not raising the price a whole lot from the intro price.

If you can produce an E90 section 3 exhaust with quad tips for ~700 I'd be all over it!

We could make a system like that for 700 bucks, but it would be made in china, poor quality, and it wouldnt be something we would want to put our name on. We would rather sell less exhausts, and be known for having a high quality product thats worth the money spent, than sell tons of exhausts and be known for a poor quality product. This is why we chose to use all flanges rather than slip joints, mandrel bent high quality stainless, and hand assembled mufflers and tips.

Secondary HFC's will be an option. They will ofcourse, cost additional because cats are not cheap, but it will be available for those who want it.

The æ exhaust is about QUALITY, performance, and sound. Not about trying to minimize costs on material or building process. Because of this, the exhausts retails for $1599 (which is CONSIDERABLY less than the competition if what you are after is great build quality, true power gains, and great sound). In the end we have a better product for less.

These prices are very reasonable and competitively priced compared to the competition. Some of you guys have some unrealistic expectations. Sure I'd love an exhaust for $995... but I want quality, not just a shitty low cost option. And that's what æ is all about: quality.

Lets put things in perspective:

Dinan sells mufflers for $1700
Bastuck mufflers for $1700
RD Sport $2200
AA for $1890
Britalman for $1895
Rennart (*cough slip joints* ) $1599
Eisenmann $2000+

the list goes on and on...

The entire æ exhaust retails for $1599 which is cheaper than most, but at the same time far better quality. No shitty slip joints, is all mandrel bent and uses flanges, and also has the best hand made muffler out there with arguably the best looking tips (obviously this is subjective ).

Long story short, in the end you are getting one of, if not the best quality exhaust cheaper than the competition. This exhaust really is the best bang for your buck when you look at the big picture.

I'll pay 400 bucks more for an exhaust that I think sounds better. I also think the construction is superior. Not really sure why all these companies keep producing exhausts that use slip joints. And not to bash the $995, but if you look closely at their welds on the X pipe; they just welded over slip joints

Pardon my ignorance but I am new to this whole Fast and the Furious modding thing. I have two questions:

1) How many parts are there to the exhaust system (downpipes, catback, muffler ect) and what does this include?

2) Will this exhaust cause a check engine light if the secondary cats are not included?

BTW

I have been listening to pretty much every exhaust clip combo on this forum and to ME this sound the best by a good margin.

It would be nice to see some more photos as well.

Congratulations on a job well done.

1) This is the full exhaust after the downpipes. It gets rid of the secondary cats (or if you want high-flow cats, æ offers that as well). It is in 4 pieces (per side) connected using flanges.

2) Getting rid of the secondary cats will not cause a check engine light.

thanks for the comments about the sound we agree with you!

more photos will be coming soon for sure

If you are introducing your new exhaust to the market with no history on it, you can not compare your products with brand names, where this company's are already establish.
I was hoping for a better introducing price on your exhaust.
Good luck!

+1, at this point I think I'll wait to see what Borla charges for their new dual muffler exhaust that was in testing a short while back.

Ha that Borla exhaust looks like it will probably lose power. Man when are people going to learn... Straight through = +HP. Chambered = -HP

One pays upward of 52k for a car... I personally want a product like this to be of top notch quality. This exhaust is about BUILD QUALITY before anything. Like previously mentioned: we didn't skimp on the design/build quality because the idea was to properly make the exhaust and sell it at a good price.

If you were looking to buy the cheapest possible exhaust, then clearly this is not the exhaust for you. If you want an extremely high quality product at a very reasonable price, then this is exactly for you

In the end, it speaks for itself: No need for resonators or an x-pipe to control rasp/drone. The hand built mufflers + no slip joints means the most performance possible, the best sound, with none of the downfalls. You get what you pay for and more
