I'm in Bristol, not too far from Worcestershire.

That seems a little odd that a M Sport would have a spolier from a SE. hmm I'm just a little paranoid as I've seen lesser spec older cars selling for more, so I'm looking for a catch, I hope there isn't one and I've got myself a lovely car.

I dont think there is one specially for the M-Sport kit and the other genuine option would be the M3 lip spoiler. I wouldn't worry and enjoy the car!

Here's the car I've brought
http://www.bmw.co.uk/bmwuk/auc/car_d...WD72060PW59886

What do you think of the rear spoiler, is it an aftermarket one or an option from BMW? as you can see the original owner had ticked pretty much every option going. What I'm getting at is will it need to be declared to the insurance? if model deletion cost £65 i'm a little worried to what a spoiler will do.

I also managed to get the dealer to throw in an ipod connection, but he says this will disconnect the CD changer, and the changer can't be sold on, is this true?
A good looking car.

You never quite know what insurers are going to say. My sister was told that her 118d was uninsurable by Zurich as it has sports suspension!

The ipod connection for those without the 6FL takes the place of a CD changer and uses the CD changer functionality to allow you to select different modes of track selection. I can't remember what order they are but basically is uses the CD Selection (1-6) to change between tracklist, genres, artist, album etc.

You cannot be serious!!

...and people then wonder why people do drive uninsured

If anyone is interested try Lancaster they are very good

there is no excuse to drive uninsured. Even in a 1988 205.

No I'm not saying there is any excuse to do it but the fact is people do.

There are a number of factors that cause this -

Premiums being far too high - I paid nearly £4K for a Boxster S, horrendous
People buying cars and insuring them but not declaring mods - you are not insured
Named drivers driving other cars - you are not insured not even third party

If the insurers were cheaper that would solve a lot of problems, then there are other issues like people not understanding the policy.

From what I've seen, there's no excuse to drive a 1988 205, full stop.

Thanks for the comments all.

I must admit I don't like the spoiler too much but the rest of the car far out-weighed any ill feeling for it.

I have a feeling it's going to be a long two weeks.

I have looked through the threads to try and find this, but i have not seen anything, so apologies if it has already been posted.
I have a cd changer in the boot and it is playing up, the dealership have said they cannot find anything wrong with it, but the sound definitely is not right.
Has anyone else had a problem like this.

Newbie

Hi another Newbie here.

Currently have an E91 320d M-Sport, Titanium Silver, Black Dakota leather, heated seats, privacy glass, electric fold mirrors, auto lights.

Current car is coming up to 85k so have just placed an order for the E91 Edition M-Sport. Would have liked to go for the Carbon but I am lazy so it's easy to keep looking clean Titanium Silver again. Black Dakota again, Pro Nav, USB, Voice control, heated seats. and off course those Edition alloys..

Looking forward to sharing thoughts and picking up tips.
