Hello!

Does anyone help me to upgrade my map of car?
I have new map, but when I put my usb key to glovebox, I must write to code to upgrade, but I don't know this code.

I don't have FSC code, how can I find this?

Quick PSA. I ran the Windows FSC Generator today, and I ran into an issue where it wouldn't let me select a region or a map. Looking at the folder it was in, I noticed that the lookup XML file it downloaded/created the first time I ran it was 0 bytes for some reason. I renamed the file, and it automatically grabbed a new one (with actual data in it) and worked fine.

So if you run into this problem, maybe you've hit this as well. Everything went smooth as a baby's butt after this.

I downloaded Europe East Premium 2019-2 (USB).

I also tried many times to download the 1b file and generate the FSC code, but to no avail? the code does not fit, then I tried the code with VIN, it also does not fit. I enter my calculated code into my navigation system, he says that it is incorrect.
Can you generate an activation lifetime code for me?

Your 1b.hex file contains a generic VIN of "1234567" (characters 27 to 33), so you'll need to manually extract the 1b.hex file using an ENET to OBD2 Connector, as per my comment: https://www.e90post.com/forums/showp...&postcount=390

If you use an ENET to OBD2 Connector, I recommend you use Firefox:

There is a known problem where the USB script (copie_scr.sh) generates an incorrect 1b.hex file for earlier model E9x cars. More info here:

That only works for CIC and not for Motion.

Help in reading the FSC file using ESys?

I have a 2016 model M4 F82 that uses EVO ID4 maps?

I have got Jagaer code generator, but cannot figure out how to read the FSC file from the car with EVO ID4?

I follow this method for my other car F10 with HU_NBT. Should I follow this method or do some values need to change for EVO ID4?

1. ESys -> FSC Extended
2. Diag Address: 0x63
3. Click Identify
4. Application Number: 0xDE
5. Upgrade Index: 0x1
6. Move Store FSC from left list to right
7. Click Read, then save file as 7-digitVIN.FSC

Any help would be much appreciated?

You would have to get the 1B file from your vehicle via Ethernet.

I would just pay for a map code from a vendor since that is cheaper than getting the hardware and includes the correct maps.

Sorry to possibly be off topic but anyone have access to software to produce the FSC key needed to enable the Satellite Radio option? Currently bound to a HU_ENTRYNAV so I gather that the maps functions are useless to me....

The software can only generate FSC code for NEXT and PREMIUM maps

can you help me?
I followed the whole process, downloaded the maps, the generator and extracted the file 1b from the car.
I tried with two maps, 1-2019 and 1-2018 with their generated codes, but they are always wrong.
I recently own a BMW Z4 E89 23i from 2010. The maps have never been updated, in fact they are from 2009.
Could you please help me?

Your problem is this:

You will MANUALLY have to extract the file. The script does not work on your car.
