The rear diffuser was $1,310 installed at the port. Could I have found it for less somewhere? Sure. But it was convenient and was on the car at delivery, and was part of the sticker. I would have thought about the trunk spoiler as well, but I'm leaning similar to you: finding something aftermarket that covers the width of the trunk. Now, I have to decide on those other things, like the trunk spoiler, front lip, etc. Decisions, decisions... haha |

Woohoo! My status was just changed to "In Transit"! I spoke with the BMW genius, and she indicated that it is due to arrive at the Oxnard processing center on Friday March, 15th. So hopefully I should have it in the next week or so!

I haven't seen a frozen grey in person, but when I was picking up my car, I saw an M8 Competition in a frozen darker grey. Not sure the official name of the color. But it definitely looked nice! Quote:
Nice! Congrats! Not a long time remaining at all! |

Toscana made it to Mexico, along with a handful of other auto-transport vessels. Should see a change in status tonight or tomorrow if our cars are on one of them.
Toscana due in Galveston Thursday. |

I have been glued to my browser since Saturday. Toscana had been sitting in the harbor all weekend, so stoked it finally pulled into port last night. I am hoping our cars hitch a ride on that one out to Galveston. Would love to be able to pick up my build next week!!

Well, appears that Toscana is moored at port in Veracruz for going on three days now, as near as I can tell. Abrandonment, are you able to get any better info than I am seeing on the free Marinetraffic website? I’m losing hope that our cars will be here any time soon.

Mine got on a ship on a Friday and arrived in Galveston on Monday. No updates over the weekend, and all of a sudden, the update was that the car had arrived at port. |

Got the windows tinted today!
First pic is pre-tint, for comparison. Not the best pics for just showing tint, but oh well. Also, ended up tinting the windshield for the first time. I'll see if I end up liking that decision after the next several months. I'm thinking I will. |

I called a few minutes ago, BMW Genius' didn't have any new updates other than what the BMW Garage shows online. So it's gonna be a waiting game to see if anything comes of the Toscana delivery. If the Texas cars didn't make that ship, the Tanabata looks like it is set to arrive in Veracruz on 3/18.

Thanks! I went with a pretty unpopular combo:
- windshield: 84% - front roll down windows: 30% - rest of the car: 5% First two were sort of chosen for me in my state. The "rest of the car" was the unpopular part, but I like it dark. |
