Mine failed at 54k miles 07 335i lol, which was replaced under aftermarket warranty..Now i'm at 113k I plan on doing this job myself in August when I have vacation time. I just wish someone would come up with a better improved design/solution I bet they would make pretty good money too.

Mine failed 2009 with 96k miles. I bought the car with 42k miles. I think it is the original pump. Actually happened at a good time, only 5 min. from the house. Parts are ordered, and will do it myself in about a week.
Now when we go on a long trip I don't have to worry about it. Its been on the back of my mind for awhile. |

Replaced mine on my 08 335i 2 months ago at 109k miles after i found my wp had been dripping slowly at higher coolant pressure, my coolant light would come on every few weeks or so, Manufacturer date was 2013,so i figure it lasted about 5 years and the oem pump probably also lasted around 5 years.

185k on my 2006 325i and I think my water pump is finally on it's way out
luckily I already have the new water pump kit from FCP and I'm gonna try and get it in this week. honestly, I think my expansion tank might have just cracked but the last time I checked my codes, some water pump issues showed up |
