JP, you are clearly maxed on timing. It's curious that the IC stays constant until the very end, but there's advance at the midpoint. I expected different logs then what i've seen so far with DIC. I expected IC to be reduced when DME advances timing. I still haven't logged yet, but should be more clear if I do since i will NOT be maxed for sure.

What's cool is you can see a direct relationship between IC reducing and actual timing increasing right there

true, but that's how its always been. my understanding of DIC was that IC moves in the direction the DME is moving. anyway, the car looks strong.

I've wondered, is it not the same to just log the actual AFR channel, instead of banks 1 and/or 2? Or is the AFR one not as accurate, or lags, or something that you guys don't use that instead?

Shiv will have to explain, i think CAN actual AFR are much more accurate and also it's good to see them separately to see if one bank is running lean or something.

More features? More refinement?

Maybe a little bit of both.....?

To be honest I liked the old 1st and 2nd gear reduction in torque options.

I had it dialed in at 50% first gear, it did the best job of limiting wheel spin.

I tried 20% with the new system and blew the tires right off. I ended up disabling it and using my right foot.

+1000 I don't like this spark reducing traction nonsense.

I think the "problem" is that the timing reduction method is only capable of a moderate torque reduction, not the big reduction that you east coast winter boys need with your road conditions and snow tires. Noted.

It doesn't help that you have Hancrap tires, the worst tires known to man. You go sideways at 40mph even in 60 degree weather!

Don't remind me. These Hancraps were supposed to be the best tires since sliced bread. I failed to deduce from the articles about these tires that their claim to fame was autoxing on FWD nissan sentra SER with about 150TQ at best.

They should only be allowed to right reviews about tires when used on real cars (i.e zo6). Not autoxing around cones going 30 MPH in fail wheel drive.

Honestly, my all-season Conti DWS are comparable in straight-line traction to the Dunlop Direzzas on my 135i... however on the turns, they fail miserably
