I just talked to a service advisor @ BMW of Seattle .. and surprise! "We have not heard anything about problems with high pressure fuel pumps on a 335i"

just talked to my Serv Mgr.
they don't have an ETA on my fuel pump, BUT, my Oil Cooler retrofit kit is in and they're going to install that while we wait.

They did tell me that the fuel pump we are waiting for IS a new, improved unit though.

We'll see.

I tried looking for your old posts about your fuel pump problem but couldn't find it so if you don't mind me asking. What happened the first time your fuel pump died? Also, what was the mileage of when your first pump died and when your second pump died? Where's your car now? Back at the dealer waiting for a third pump?? Sorry to hear the bad news, I'm on my second pump right now. I sure hope I won't need a third!
