I know Terry is on Shiv's "no-no" list (didn't know SfValley335i is on it too), but Shiv, I'm just curious, why wouldn't you sell PROcede to them? Not that they will probably ever want to buy it out of their pride or for some other matters (or will they?), but if they ever wanted to buy it wouldn't it just be like a recognition of your victory in this battle?

Shiv,
First off, very impressive. Question for you: I was reviewing the dyno chart and due to the stock run and V2.0 run being a similar color, I am unclear which line is the A/F for V2.0. I’m going to assume that you kept the A/F consistent in V1.45 and V2.0. That being said, isn’t the engine running a bit lean above 5000 RPMs? Simply a question, please let me know your thoughts. False. When I was interested in the Procede I didnt want to pay taxes. You were going to help me out on that but then I decided not to go for it.... Even though you were going to attempt to squeeze me into the waiting list at that time. There was never a time in which I wanted the procede but you rejected my order. |

You deal with aromas. I go by what I call buddha belly. My BB tells me about the "aroma" of someone w/i a minute. Terry may just have wanted it for vodoo purposes.

If this is the case, there's no reason a 375 whp car hitting these 60' times can't beat a rather lower HP/WT ratio M3. From a roll, the V2.0 335 will walk the M3 up to at least 125mph, then even from there... |

Schemes all of which you declined????????? Ya okay my hindu friend.... You said it would be okay to do a cash deal in person if I drove up north... Too bad theres no phone recording of it. Ya that 'other' story you didnt elaborate on is how you bumped someone infront of other Procede orders because was a previous TT owner. Either way not to take this thread on a different track, v2 seems great for the time being |

You guys are delusional......... A fully decked out 335i will be pretty equal to the new M3, but that's it. We'll see what happens with the new DCT M3 runs against a modded Step 335i. No " I missed a shift excuses " there........ Honestly. I'll take an M over a modded 335 all week long. I'm just waiting for the e90 M3. Hell, I can buy an Evo and mod it to beat a Ferrari, but is it a Ferrari ? NO. A modded 335 is just that. A modded car. It won't hold it's value any better and the mods will be worth .3 to .4 cents on the dollar when you sell it, at best. SHIV, What is the wait time on a PROcede right now ? When V2 is finally available, will ALL PROcede owners get the upgrade immediately or will there be some kind of wait ? KJ |

Despite the perception I don't have an axe to grind or reason to suggest v2 gains are overstated. As usual, I'm just selfishly trying to figure out how to make my own car faster. If the gain really is only say 20rwhp then it goes from being somewhat difficult to comprehend (VANOS magic which I don't think exists), to just another pound of boost and a couple degrees of timing. As you know correction factors, power spikes with smoothing cranked to the max, poor cool downs, ECU learning, etc can all swing dyno numbers up or down. If you catch a down swing on one with an up swing on the other, a 20rwhp gain can look like 40rwhp. |

If you think about it, there should not be a need for a LSD when you run in straight line on a drag strip. From a dig the weight of the car should distribute equally on the rear wheels.
So, for everyday car we dont need an LSD. Track days are different story, but I personally would not spend that much money on something I use 2-3 times a year (If that)
