Just the two I posted before the RSW one and then that one for now. I might get my friend who's a photographer to snap a couple more later. No fitment issues and no messing with liners/fenders yet. I might do spacers in the rear but Idk yet (if I do then I'd roll fenders a bit).

Thanks bud. Yeah I love it so far. That's exactly what I was going for since I had 235/40/18 all around last time and it just wasn't as good. It's good to talk to these guys and go with the ET you want and that is right for your car the first time. Don't settle.

Yes Achilles ATR Sport. I've had them before. Extremely cheap cost and they last quite a while and I haven't driven too hard yet but with some of the spirited driving I've done, I have yet to find the breaking point on these tires since they're so wide and grippy. I am currently stock ride height on my XI and the nice thing is it doesn't look as 4x4 as I've seen some XIs.

Am about 1 week out on pulling the trigger on som EC-7 wheels.

My car: 2006 330i e90 pre-lci with sport suspension (~90,000 miles).

Am looking at Continental (was told either DW or DWS)

wheels that am considering: F 18x9 ET 31 and R 18x9.5 ET 35

I plan to upgrade to either koni / springs or TCKline coilovers and some M3 front and rear bits.

Questions:

1) Is it wise to install camber plates (e.g. Dinan) to run the 18x9 in the front
2) What is the best practical tire size for this setup (light track use / aggressive street driving
3)negate option 1 and 2 and use and 18x8.5 in the front?

The 18x9" ET31 would not require camber plates on the front of your car with the M3 control arms as that would allow for enough negative camber for using up to a 255/35/18 street tire. If you are planning to use an extreme summer tire, or R-compound tires in the future, the camber plates can surely be beneficial. Also, if you track your car, the camber plates will be beneficial in it's own way by elongating your tire's life on the track, while making your turn-in improve as well. The 18x9" ET31 is pretty flush with the fenders of the pre-LCI e90 and provides a good look with the Profile 2, so we'd recommend it over the 18x8.5" ET35 front especially if you are planning to do some M3 suspension bits in the future and lower your car.

Unfortunately we only have the wheel specs, not the tires, suspension, or camber specs. The wheels are 18x9 ET31 and 18x10" ET33 EC-7's Profile 2 front and rear.

I'm now running Avant Garde M359 wheel on my 2011 BMW E90 LCI 335i M-sport, front: wheel18 8.5/tire235/40/18, rear: wheel 18 9.5 tire265/35/18. The rear fender do rub the tire sometimes. I'm interested in buying Apex wheel to replace my AG wheel, but I worry about the rubbing issue. should I do 9 or 9.5 in the rear with 265/35/18 tire?

18x9" ET31 will work in the front with anything from a 235/40/18 to a 255/35/18 but you may need some negative camber on the wider end of the spectrum depending on what kind of tire you plan on using. Basically there are three types of tires (extreme performance, r compound, or regular summer tires) which can vary greatly in size even though the same size is written on the sidewall. When using an 18x9.5" ET22 with a 265/35/18 tire in the rear you will need to roll your fenders.



Either tire can be used with out problems, and the 245/35/18 does have a shorter sidewall if there is concern over rubbing.

Without a fender roll, an LCI e90 can only take the 18x9.5" ET43 rear with a 265/35/18 tire. We have an LCI e90 335D in house with the 18x9.5" ET35 so we know that this rubs quite a bit in the rear. It is sporting the 18x9.0" ET31 (more aggressive than the profile 18x8.5" ET35 EC-7) and 18x9.5" ET35 EC-7s, with 255/35/18 and 265/35/18 Michelin PSS tires. Here is a photo of that car:







The 18x9.0" ET31 and 18x9.5" ET43 are both Profile 2, and so is the 18x9.5" ET35. The 18x9.0 ET31 will require at least a 245/40/18 tire which will be slightly stretched already, or a 255/35/18 which would require some negative camber. You may be able to get away with the 18x9.5" ET35 rear with a 265/35/18 if your ride height isn't too low, or if your tires aren't very wide, but that is something we experience first hand so that is why we usually recommend the 18x9.5" ET43 that is more conservative than your car.

If you prefer the Profile 1 fronts instead of the Profile 2, you can surely go with the 18x8.5" ET35 front and 18x9.5" ET43 rear with 235/40/18 and 265/35/18 street tires. This would be a direct fit with OEM suspension and would not require any other modifications.

Okay -- that's pretty sweet and looks exactly like my car minus the nice wheels (I still have the stock 18's on my car).

I know you've probably answered this several times in this thread, but I've gotten confused trying to keep up with the questions/answers, so I'm going to ask for another response specific to my car:

I'd like to see what would fit my 2008 e92 coupe (w/sport) without having to roll the fenders. I'm not running any suspension mods or upgrades at the moment...

I could go 18" or 19" I guess, but the 18's seem to look pretty good from what I can see and it probably is best considering I don't want to roll the fenders...
