I had 3 Honda's and 2 Acura's...all were great cars...ran forever...with minimal upkeep...

Did a lease takeover on my 2009 Civic Si so I could by my 335i. Didn't spend a dime on that car over 3yrs beyond basic maintenance. Great Car - too bad they dropped that TSX motor in for the new Gen

"run forever" is not always the case with Hondas......there are years when Accords, Odyssey, and Civics came with bunch of defective parts from factory. We got 2002 Accord on the lot, owner spent $3000 in repairs last year not counting the maintenance and other small repairs....only 112k miles on the car.

I bought an 86 Accord back in 92. Also bought a new Civic in 97. Traded it is for a 94 318i 18 months later. Never will buy Japanese again.

Just sold my 2000 Honda Civic EX with 203k on the clock and never changed the timing belt. Bought a 2007 E92 328xi to toy around with instead. Wife still drives a Honda Pilot and it is a great SUV. Owned 3 other Honda/Acura's as well. They are good for what their intended purpose is.

Indeed. Most reliable two cars I ever owned. 2000 civic coupe ex and 2000 civic hatchback cx. Used the cx for autocross events and daily driver in the Philly/New Jersey region. Loved that car...until it was stolen.

Started with an 88 CRX Si, then a 93 Del Sol Si, 97 Acura CL, 02 Accord EX-V6...my fave was the Accord. It was smooth and hauls ass!
