Not till the warranty is toast. I'm going to focus on suspension, wheels, and making the rear end as stable as I can.

And don't forget the Mullet! You gotta start growing it out now so you'll have it ready when you sign the paperwork!

It won't look like your typical Mustang when I'm done. A little flair to set it apart...

Clayton, at one point I had said given the money and the need for another 4 seater coupe I would buy a Boss 302. The torsen LSD does wonders for those cars and I love the American M3 factor

Yeah, I actually thought pretty hard about a Mustang back when I was getting the M3. But the console just did me in. It's not bad but it wasn't something I wanted to live with long term. I liked the 350Z console I was driving much better and I definitely preferred the M3 console even more!

Although I will admit I'm a person that favors the interior to the exterior (possibly why I haven't bothered changing out the halo lights). I loved the Audi I had (until BH thought "hey, we don't really need to torque down that idler pulley" which then led to "ah, the joy of re-machining heads...").

And even though the sound of a Mustang V8 with an exhaust can be orgasmic in the right situations I'd see myself going slowly insane seeing that dash every day... But that's just my personal opinion. Same goes for the Camaro!

As a track car I'd buy one in a heartbeat!

I agree the interior is lacking. But, I'm buying it for the exterior and that motor. I want something that oozes aggression. My 5 series does not.

Then I hope you're at least getting a Boss 302! If you got the Shelby I would shed a tear of joy! I gotta admit I always have to take a second glance at a Shelby 500. That would be an awesome weekend car if I could even get just 5 numbers from the Powerball...

Gonna track it or will it be just a DD and St Franny taxi?

Base model GT. I'd like to do a track day a couple times a year. But, likely just what you mentioned.

I say good choice...you'll pay about $20k more for a Boss 302. Where as you can get the Base GT supercharge, cam, exhaust, it for less then $20k then then run a Boss. Hell I've seen modded GTs (N/A) beat lightly modded Roush 2 cars

Reg is open:
$190 one day
$300 two days
$450 three days

As much as I like saving money by buying in bulk...(as me why I chose auto racing?? o_O)

...$450 is steep, I'd be missing a day of pay as well, and I'd be pretty spent by the end third day.

I think I'll just do the Sat/Sun.
