I'm not speaking as an A's hater, but I honestly don't foresee success in their near feature. The MLB is filled with two types of organization: the haves and have-nots. While the haves obviously utilize big budget power to acquire stars in their prime, the have-nots will depend on the draft and farm systems to flourish their team. Unfortunately, team loyalty has become a far gone conclusion and players are dispensable as yogurt is perishable; but that's another story.

Unfortunately for the A's, they don't appear to favor either characteristic, which leaves me with one question: WTF?

The Giant's looked like they were in that same boat during 90's along with the last decade. Timmy and Cain carried our team during the fist half of the year, and kung fu panda finally has some offensive support (Garko and Dirty Sanchez).

I couldn't believe how hard it is to find a regular white dress shirt without a pocket, in Stanford mall.

I did. Didn't have my size. Going to go by Stoneridge where all the gwei lohs buy the larges and XLs and leaves the me the extra mediums.

Doesn't Stoneridge have a surplus of hawk gwais? Then again, they may not need a plain white button up, let alone in XMed.

yeah it seems like the A's will groom many of their farm players until they become better and by the time they are groomed to lead a team all the way, they cannot afford to keep them! When they finally broke that streak by signing Chavez to the multi year deal I was like "WHOA the new owner is willing to dish out the big bucks", I was thinking that the A's would finally start to become more competitive over the next few years.

But now Chavez is getting injured left and right and all that money they are spending on him has gone to waste. I think the only way the team will be able to compete is by building a new ballpark asap and get that revenue coming in. That's why I have major beef with the fremont residents (although i currently am one myself). They rejected Wolf's plans to build a nice stadium which I would have thought provide jobs and revenue for the city. The only drawback is more traffic but common now. The city needs money.

Although I'm not a Giants fan I cannot deny the fact that Timmy is dominant. He's the man and is pitching lights out. Looks like another CY young award is coming his way. Sanchez is providing the bat as well. I have also been hearing of a prospect Buster Posey? I hear he's making some noise in double or triple A ball and he's suppposed to be someone to watch out for.

Ahh that's right

note to self: In Cali, East = bad, West = good. i.e. EPA, East Oakland, East San Hoe, etc.

Once upon a time, I was walking down the street, when I encountered a panhandler preaching "Cain for Cy Young." I stood there for about 5 minutes arguing for Timmy's case (yes, I was buzzed), but now realize how strong his case was.
