my car currently has 8840mi on it and is a 2013, may/june build.
just started my car yesterday after sitting in the drive way, i got the low coolant icon. i saw and have no leaks anywhere, no fluids on the drive way or anywhere else... and i've read to just add a bit of distilled water for temp measures. has anyone else had this problem so early on in ownership? thank you.

I've been filling up on Chevron no-eth 94 every since day1 (we get that up here in BC); however, during a recent road trip down to the states, I filled up with Chevron 91 and noticed quite a few things.
Car runs a lot smoother, at the cost of power. My butt dyno says that it feels a noticeable loss of powerful, the throttle also feels less responsive, and I hear less gurgle and pops. So I was curious, would going Cobb Stage 1 help the car burn up 94 better, leading to a smoother engine feel, more power, and less gurgle/pops (cause not overly rich)? |

Not sure if there is any merit behind it but I have always read to only use BMW coolant with BMW's as any other coolant has corrosive materials in it. For the extra $10 it gives me a piece of mind. Maybe someone else can confirm/deny this?

Performance mod on 335is using JB4?
New here... bought a 335is 5 months ago.
Any of you guys getting good results with JB4 on an 2011 335is? I've read mixed reviews that it does nothing for the car but cause problems. Can anyone elaborate or attest to it actually giving good gains? I'd like to hear from anyone that actually ran it on a dyno to measure performance gains? HP and torque numbers? I see people talking about it, but no actual numbers. Thinking about doing a mod on mine. Cobb or JB4? |

Me too. What map do you run? I am running Stage 1 ST (Aggressive) with 93 octane. Still getting a feel for it.

You doing any mods??? Otherwise expect this with the "integrated" kit:
And this, with the "ISO" kit and continual hex releases: I wasn't impressed... |

I'm running PTF tuned COBB on mine and love it. Makes a huge difference in my opinion. Just stock using 94 octane.
