New 525d 3.0l M Sport owner

Evening

Im a new 525d 3.0 litre M Sport owner (pick it up Sunday) and looking forward to driving the car.
Its a late 57 plate Le Mans blue with Dakota leather, IPOD pack, Bluetooth phone connection and the other usual extras.

Car is in excellent condition with full BMWSH and 95,000 on the clock. Ive not had a Beemer since an old 535 about 2001.

I was a RX8 owner and active forum member, I hope this one is as good and friendly, sure it will be.

What do I need to keep an eye on now I have it, already looking at a remap (had one on the 8) and possible SatNav upgrade.

Thanks Steve

Evening,

Currently driving 05 plate 325i pretty much 'stock' (for now) which i love.. but having some problems at the moment. Previous rides include E36 325i couple M3 replica (badly done unfortunately) and Nissan Skyline GTT (R34) and MANY, MANY questionable car choices in between.

ATB,
Benn

Hi all,

Newbie from Wales UK, had my e90 320d about 2 weeks now, I love the car. Went from a 1.1 citroen c2 furio haha!

Thought I would join an e90 club because the previous club I was with when I had the c2 was very supportive!

Hi newbie.
Got a 57 plate 335i manual,
Had it for about 6 months now, starting to full in love! what a car! the more I do to it the better it gets! At first coming from a Honda s2000 I didn't think much of the e92. Thought it handled like a boat. And had no go or buss! But now I slowly putting my mods on it ls becoming better and better.
Mods so far.
1. News ferodo ds2500 pads
2. M3 rear control arms
3. H and r sway bars
4. Golf tee mod
5. Home made induction kit
6. Sprint booster
7. Boost gauge
8. Gloss black wheels
9. Gold exhaust tips
10. Gold brakes
Mods to come
1. Vrsf 5inch stepped intercooler
2. Tial bov and charger pipe
3. Bms downpipes
4. Dyno tune
Once these mods are done hoping to hit the 400bhp mark. Car has been on the rollers already, pushing 300.5 bhp and 423 nm torque.

Hello!

Well, I've had my E92 325i SE with 313s about 5 weeks now, but I missed this new member thread. A new born daughter arrived 4 weeks ago, so despite some plans not much has happened.

This car is my daily driver and is far from a pampered weekend toy, so no performance mods.

I managed to pick up a grey Msport interior last weekend and I fitted it this morning. Biggest project is to sort the headunit and stereo, but still to decide what to do.

Is there a section on here for reader project threads?

Newbie from North East

Hello,

Newbie from Cramlington in the north east of england.

Just got my 58 plate BMW 320D E90 three weeks ago, and really impressed so far.

Got big plans for the colour of it:

-Getting it wrapped Matte Metallic Blue with gloss back roof, mirrors and grill surround.

Already had it re-mapped and feels loads better.

Getting a rear gloss black spoiler but not sure which one to go for, any suggestions would be great.

Also getting a rear diffuser soonish.

This is what it currently looks like:

Hi,

Another newb, from Bromley in Kent.

Had E93 335i for a couple months now, upgraded from a E46.

Only mod so far is the LED dash conversion from orange to white and M3 needles by a member on here (M4rius/M5rius) top bloke and done a perfect job.

Next mod is AR DP's and hopefully find someone to do a NBT retro fit.

Another over excited newb!

Hi guys,

Just saying a quick hello, loving the 335i, begin back behind the wheel is soooooo good after a few years of public transport! Previously had an e46 330ci, and I've got to say they are very different cars, or at least thats how it feels so far.

I'm looking to make this a forever car, if i am lucky enough to be able to do so, and along those lines there will be a huge mod list and build thread to come - a beauty to beast conversion (hence the b2b!)

Even in the lead up to purchase, this forum has been a great source of info, I was on e46fanatics daily before, but this forum is so much more dense, I guess because the car is that much more complicated!

Anyway, enough waffle, heres a pic of the motor, and an obligatory beading shot after the first mini detail!

Hello...

HI ALL!!

Top forum, loving the site.

Just got my first BMW, it's a 58' 318i SE (i know not the best lump) but i love it so don't really care!

Any advice on best mods for this model would be greatly appreciated. Don't know if a re-map will do much??

First thing i want is some LED bulbs to replace the halogens so will probably give Horizon a shout.

Forum Newbie

Hi Guys and gals,

Thought i 'd introduce me and my new Beamer. Name is Steve and the car is a E90 330i M Sport in shiny Silver. Pictures to follow, when i pick her up.

Just moved from a E46 M3, Loved her to bits, but needed an injection of Cash so reluctantly had to sell her.

New to the E90, and would love some suggestions on who to talk to about Coding, integrating iPod into iDrive, Updating software, and other Mods.

Looking forward to joining in the forum!

Thanks
Steve

I've been on here a few weeks and just been generally browsing but managed to take a few pics over the weekend of my E92 that I picked up a few weeks ago. Excuse the bits of hay stuck in the bumper grille - didn't even notice it was there until after I took the pics

Hi Guys

I'm new here and I don't even own a BMW yet so I have only a small idea about what goes on in these forums.

I currently have a Honda Accord Coupe 3.0 V6 Auto which I purchased about 8 years ago and the car had covered 24k miles, it has now done 123k miles and I must say that it has been a very reliable and comfortable car and I will be sad to her go but I need to change soon.

I am currently looking to buy a 2006 BMW 335i Auto which has covered 31k miles and looks amazing, has leather, sat nav, auto box and when I look at the pictures gives me an 'immediate erection' lol.

Here is the car I am interested in:-

I would welcome any advice from the members on this forum in regards to what to look out for and check before I finally purchase the car for £13k.

I look forward to some interesting conversations soon.

Thanks for having me!
