I know I'm a little late on the auto insurance thing but, I have to brag and say my insurance company is the best. They have the same ratings as AMICA does in that JDPower survey but they don't put them on the same list since only military and and their families are eligible.

Customer service is AMAZING. I've never dealt with a better business in my life. I do all my car insurance, checking, savings, mortage, home insurance, credit cards, and loans through them and I haven't had an issue with them yet.

Their rates are always among the best as well.

But if you want this insurance company Anvar, you will just have to sign up for service. Come on down to my office this week and I can help you out with that, lol

Nice. I'm running out of places to put all this snow in the yard and it's only been "winter" for 5 days!

Have you arranged a date to return the car? It's a shame the weather wasn't more cooperative so you could be enjoying it as much as possible these last few days.

Also, I was thinking about your warning triangle. Does the mounting bracket come off easily? If I can get the bracket to mount correctly in my car I'll probably take it off your hands.

Oh, and as far as the advertising goes:

Flo is annoying and the Gecko is boring. But Mayhem, now that's funny stuff

Mayhem commercials are definitely my favorite...and they have great meaning too!

Nowak- I would suggest JB Eurotech for all BMW coding...they've done a good job for me before, and they are cool enthusiasts themselves.

Anyone here have any experience with VIP Motorsports in Brooklyn Park?

My wife found this deal on livingsocial.com http://livingsocial.com/deals/19590-car-detailing

I couldn't find any reviews but, it's definately a great deal so I decided to drop the hammer on it and I bought two interior/exterior's and one remote start.

I figure I'll drop by there tomorrow and see what the details are and if I'm not happy I'll get my money back through livingsocial

x2 on JBEurotech. I would give them a call and ask what they can do for you. Let us know how it turns out.

They look legit. Pretty good deal though! It doesn't say what exactly they do when detailing...so I'd bet it's just the basic wash/rinse/dry/wax, and detail interior. One thing I'd request though, definitely need to clay bar and use a sealant/wax stripping cleaner soap before waxing (or drying for that matter), or it can cause worse swirl marks, or simply the new wax will simply not bond well.

If it's just wash and wax then I'm requesting my money back. I tried calling their number but being it's a holiday weekend I had no luck in trying to get the full details.

The livingsocial site says you can get your money back no questions up to 5 days after purchased so I'm not really worried about it.

I'm hoping for the original price of $279 they at least do a clay and a little paint correction. We'll see though.

+1 on JB Eurotech. I just had my LCI Tail lights coded. Very professional and knows what he is doing. If his shop wasn't so far, I'd take my car for service there.

Nick
haha you beat me to it, he does need to pick up like 15 sets of wheels in addition to the exhaust to make this model truly authentic

There were two new Top Gear specials on here over Christmas! The first had the boys in an SLS, GT3RS and 458 running up the east coast from NC to NY. The second had them re-tracing the journey of the three wise men in an old MX5, Z3 and Fiat Barchetta.

They were entertaining, though not as fun as some of the older specials. Maybe they are running out of ideas
