Sure, but they could code it into the AP and you just leave it plugged in there's many ways and doing it from inside the DME may be easier/harder, only they know

Sure, with the AP they can do literally anything they want since they developed the hardware and code base in its entirety. Maybe it's possible to change DME functionality either interactively via the AP or statically with a custom firmware flash that includes such logic, but I gotta assume if it was easy some of the other flash guys out there (or cobb for that matter) would have already done it. Not a feature I personally care about either way, the performance of the tune is the most important thing to me, just saying.

everything takes time and has a priority, doesn't mean gauges are hard to do

Iirc, Cobb stated they have unused space in the dme for additional programming. I'm with everyone else though, tune first, gimmicks second.

Well, right now this is a discussion between two people who really don't know one way or the other, so we're both just surmising I'm interested more from a technical perspective to be honest.

Help! I'm getting terrible misfires with stage 1 (both 91 and 93 octane) and stage 0 runs perfect in all scenarios. Any ideas?

If your sparkplugs have over 20K miles its likely the culprit.

This just started happening after going to v301 maps?

Amazes me how people post such little details when they need help

When I updated the firmware on my Cobb, I didn't get all of the new associated maps. I just connected my Cobb to my computer and deleted all the maps. Where can I download all the current maps so I can upload them to the Cobb?

EDIT: Nevermind, I think I found them. If anyone else had the same issue or is interested in different maps.. refer to this link: http://cobbtuning.com/info/?id=5894

Stage 1 maps v300 and v301 (all throttle configurations) yield the same results. Never had issues with the V2xx. Is there a way i can still get these old maps? I no longer have them on my PC or AP. If I get the same results with the older maps it must be mechanical.

I ran v300 93 octane for a few weeks before experiencing the misfires.

Use a battery charger?

I always worried about this too. I hook up a charger to the jump start terminals under the hood. Also make sure your DRL are disabled before you start the flash

Anyone know where I can download 2.03 maps and older? I ran through a search on this forum, COBB website, and COBB forum. Nothing.

good question, and I've asked, maybe 2 or 3 times.

I have 203 for IJE0S, but nothing prior to that.

What ecu version are you on? I have IJE0S v203 on my laptop at home. Might have 201 and 202 too.

If you are on the same ecu version then pm me your email address. I'll send them over to you tonight.

IJE0S seems to be the most common rom version out there.
