Rican, what tdi is getting at is that even though Lenny is telling you the EGR is coded out, the evidence shows otherwise (as long as there hasn't been any updates you haven't told us about). Ecotune told many of us the same thing yet the evidence also showed otherwise.....But at the end of the day, if you're happy with your tune then good for you, it's just that Jarek is the ONLY one that has everything fully figured out and the facts prove it.

So..

Here is a couple questions....

1. How did RSW mess up if all they do is disassemble the DDE, read the file, send it to EcoTune, and then reverse? They didn't do any of the tuning, right?
2. Since they kept originals and tuned copies of everyones DDE, can't they refer back to TDIwyse's file and apply those changes to the other DDE's?

I'm really having a huge issue paying all that money for this and then having to pay it again for no reason. TDIwyse ran some awesome times with that tune and I think if they can get the EGR fix added to TDIwyse's tune, it shouldn't be that bad. I am hearing good things about Jarek's tune, but can't double pay for this right now. I'd also like to see some dyno numbers and track runs of Jarek's tune to see the difference.

You should have adequate recourse against RSW. Consumer protection. File a claim with your credit card company as the product you were sold does not meet the advertised specifications.

If as we've been told, RSW never paid Stan, than why should you all be paying RSW?

All dynos read differently so unless someone does a base run on the same dyno that you used, the comparison would be somewhat useless.

Chau be my guest on this you go ahead and get your car dynos in your area and post them, very true dyno's are different but i have used the same dyno over and over so my numbers are correct unless proven wrong. temps humidity etc etc have effects but I have done the dynos around the same time and so on. It might be less than the 110 whp gains lets say 10 whp less but how do we calibrate a dyno, i sure dont know. i just read and post the numbers.

JESS Down Pipe "10 of 10)

I don’t want to hijack this thread so please don’t let this post deviate from its current course but I’d like to take a moment to review Jess’s Down Pipes he designs and creates. Recently I procured one from him and what a smooth transaction. So from start to finish:
1) Shipping was incredibly fast and well packaged
2) Upon initial inspection you can immediately see the attention to detail that was put into this part. The welds look as if a robot on an assembly had done them (with little to no evidence of start/stop of the weld) amazing welding skills my friends. There is no doubt that this is a well put together heavy duty DP. Great material choice and it will surely take the test of time with no doubt!!
3) Fitment: I could not believe the fitment. Everything lined up perfectly and went in so much easier than the DPF came out. This DP saves so much room and clears up so much space. The bungs Tap job was flawless and accepted the sensors with a extremely tight and correctly angled fitment. The flanges were dead on and required zero modification and sealed the first time with no need for further adjustment
4) Sound: The sound of the 335d with a DP installed is epic to me as I love Diesel motors. It’s not obnoxious for your average business man like myself, but at the same time if you get on it you know it’s there with an ever so pleasant turbo whine and a more throaty engine acoustic.
5) Performance: Notable power increase, notable throttle response gain, and stronger power throughout gear changes

All in all I would rate Jess DP as:
Price: Best in the business
Fitment: 10 out of 10
Appearance: 10 out of 10
Procurement Process: 10 out of 10
Shipping: 10 out of 10
Quality: 10 out of 10

Job well done Jess, I’m glad I dealt with you and not the forgotten ECOTUNE (not that anything is wrong with them) but I like doing business domestically if ever possible. We need more support like this in the USA for this vehicle. So, guys if you’re going to buy. Buy from our local vendors here in the states, as long as the quality is there. And in this instance Trust me it’s there.

Glad to hear the great review on Jess's DPF delete pipe!!! Trying to add up ballpark costs of such a mod. Looks like the tune from our friends in Canada is just under $1000, do we know the ballpark $$ for the pipe from Jess?

Thanks in advance.
