So I watched a video of Matt Stonie eating 8 filet-o-fish from McDonalds in 60 seconds.
My friend gave me 4:1 odds, his $600 to my $150 that I couldn't do 4 in 60 seconds. Stipulations were I couldn't practice but I could research anything I wanted to about competitive eating. I failed miserably. It's harder than you think, lmao |

Being on message boards, and not just having threads deleted or booted for content, but having an admin decide and change MY post. Great community, meant some great folks offline...not worth it

I'm sick to my stomach that with the power going out last night, my pool and equipment has frozen, and possibly burst pipes underground, and the repair cost could be massive

That sucks! Do you guys normally keep the pools “open” all year? You don’t have to winterize and shut it down? I know this weather is extreme for TX but you do get winter, no?

No - we run them year round, and as for winter - I think we've had winters where mid 40s has been the lowest it got. Winter can be very mild in Texas.

Or the neighbors yard will, and I'll notice a lot of water use. Thankfully once it's running again (perhaps this weekend) I can turn off the auto-fill - if the level drops quickly then I have a problem, if not - it's probably ok. Just have to hold my breath till then. If they have to dig up the concrete decking around the pool it could be major.

I still have paper shades and plastic sheets taped to my windows. I moved in October. Ordered window treatments right after Thanksgiving. Still waiting ..,,,,Kitchen set and chandelier for dining room I ordered the beginning of November finally got delivered today. I can’t wait to be normal. Maybe this belongs in Confess here? My old house had a pool, haven’t decided yet if I should put one in here.

The John Deere dealer didn't have the hydraulic rams available to control my snow plow's angle, so I have to get my butt out of my air ride seat and heated cab to change the angle on my blade. It's like I might as well just pay the neighbor kids to shovel the snow.

That's only 10 bite size pieces of fish. You need some soft shell, crab, calamari and some udon too. The last time I went to a Japanese restaurant, the bill came up to $300 without tip.

Our pool pump notices when the temp drops below freezing and immediately kicks on cycling between the pool and hot tub. Does yours not have that feature?
