Do itttt. I actually heard of speedventures letting people onto the track to just stop and take some photos. Albeit this was at Laguna Seca, but if they allowed others to do it before, i dont see why not now.

No pictures because Steve had errands to run afterwards, so i didnt want to take up time on his day off. But i did bring my camera mount and try to record video behind me. I dont get how you guys do it, but i couldnt see ANYTHING. All i saw was my rear windshield, but it was too tall so i couldnt see Steve behind me at all. my mount is save level as my head rest too, but i could not see anything behind my car, even when we were going downhill i barely saw steves roof.

Head count is for sure 3...4 cars? And a few maybes. I gotta go to SPP to swap my exhaust back to stock before the track day. So hopefully if i get done in time, im gonna roll to the meet too. I think the plan is to meet at Stars or Longs around 7...8ish and carvan together.

Ive done many videos before using the cam mount. What suck, no matter how fast your driving, it looks slow on the video. I was going pretty hard that day. I wanted to drive my car hard before laguna seca.

Watching it right now. Heres a vid of GMR i did right when i first got my camera mount. Kinda shitty view since my parking permit is blocking everything and my camera is a bit too low, but i just wanted to make sure my mount wouldnt fly out the window more then anything.

stopped about 1/3 of the way through to take some photos so i just stopped recording.

It used to be like that for me too. But then i found out that my digi cam's recording (same exact camera that you brought to the photoshoot) was shooting in a slower frame rate (to make quality a bit better). Once i put it to regular frame rate (30fps vs 60fps), the video FINALLY looked like the speed i was driving. Bring your camera next time i see you and i will fix it for you. I have the same camera, but yea, now everything looks normal. The video i shot GMR was with the slow frame rate as well.

Actually, i have my camera here with me right now, ill teach you how to do it and you can check out the difference yourself. Its a huge difference, plus you get a bit more recording time once you change the frame rate.

Change it to where you record video. Then you click the middle function button. And then click up or down till you see a little icon that looks like a camcorder (it should say standard). Now click right once and it will be at "fast frame rate". Now click the middle button again and it will finish your selection. Just go back and forth between Standard and Fast Frame Rate. The difference is huge in just moving the camera left and right, its even bigger when in motion in a car.
