There were 3 channels when I grew up. When we got the 4th, it was a revelation. When we moved 'up north' and there was cable it was a revelation!!

Next I will tell you about walking 12 miles to school barefoot, uphill in both directions, and over broken glass if we took the easy way.

My dad used to splice into the Comcast line outside my house when I was a kid. Comcast would come to cut it and place a lock and almost immediately my dad and my 5 year old self would be out in the dark with a flashlight, wire strippers, and some other stuff.

Good times.

Damn. I'm blacker than you. My first car had chrome wheels, tinted windows, TV screens and a stupid loud stereo system. My hood anthem back then was Mike Jones - Still Tippin. Haha I'm glad I grew up.
