Ok I think it works now. It was a typing error...
I installed xHP now with Stage 2 and it shifts perfect now.
The TCU tool shows another error now. Thats probably a read protection of the xHP flash now.

That is correct. xHP tunes are protected against reading.

Can I get someone in Phoenix to help with this with your android and a fresh copy of xHP? I have the recommended KD-CAN cable everyone said to get. Can pay of course.

I want to upgrade trans tune to Derek's custom tune, but xHp is unstable and keeps getting stuck in endless loops. Maybe it doesn't like my OnePlus phone, I dunno.

There's also a vm that you can run on windows. Maybe the xhp support can point you where to get out and how to set it up.

For those who want to tune themselves I have found the alpina b5 e60 file which uses the same 6hp26/28 as the v8 and diesel i6 engines. It's for tunerpro use only as I was able to convert the 0da to bin and then aligned to the maps identified in the tunerpro xdf.

The alpina b3 files out there are for 6hp19/21 transmissions and have different pressures and torque limits than 6hp26/28.

here's the xdf with a few extra tcc maps added which are supposedly for the manual modes "tccnt#" which I haven't tested but was pointed out by rjahl.

Great effort robnitro. I like your thinking. Have you tried the b3 settings on your car?

Do you still have the XDF with the manual mode TCC maps? Link is dead.

Thanks !

Heres the XDF and a big special finger to XHP for hiding it to sell their tunes.
It's funny how in the start so many people helped to learn things and then when some vendors figure it out they block everyone out.
It's funny because my friend asked XHP about starting in 2nd always and they don't know how to do it. Had it stayed an open community, there would be more research into that. I told my friend to just use M mode for now, which you can also use to start from 3rd too lol, but I don't recommend that!

i wonder why there wasn't an effort to actually tune the engine, or create several maps with some free tools such as tuner pro or so...(i hope i remember that name correctly)
I saw some video where a guy actually switched off few systems in a car through that program as well, and i believe you can tune the whole engine, which would be much interesting to create several maps with different power, torque bands, lower consumption and who knows what else...

FWIW, Rod Supthin on FB group can help with custom tuning if someone here doesn't want to bother doing themselves.

Lets go in PM if you want more info.
But wrote crc fixer for bin based on disassembly.
So procedure is: got dump or make bin from 0da file - xdf edit - fix crc - make 0da with needed REFERENZ - flash with winkfp.

Can show gear number, change pressure (eds1, eds4), shift oss thresholds, timing, tcc thresholds (its pwm on, pwm off and lock), change adaptation thresholds, control HYDRA logic (XE, S, XS, B0, A1-2-3, S0, M1 plus various conditions checking like uphill, downhill, slippage, cornering, city cruising and traffic jam, track mode and many others).

Now im looking to make downshift blips in any way. Its a pity tcu can send back (for shift intervention) only retard % from current torque reported by dde. No any additional torque or rpm request... at least im still not able to find.

If someone have full can packets description for arbids 43x and share - will be very appreciate.

I welcome everyone! I am working on setting up my 6hp26, the second generation on e65,3.0d, thanks to the ols file shared by RJAHL, after many hours spent in winols and many flashes(more than 60), there is a positive result in the transmission. But there is one a thing that I can’t defeat .... it's a huge delay after pressing the pedal + in m mode ... ((((....Since I don’t have full 6hp damos on the first generation....((( A very big request to share with me (for a price), ols file on 6hp e60. I wanted to say goodbye once and for all to this annoying pause in manuall mode.Who knows where the maps for delay pedal response, please help!!

Try opening your bin with tuner pro and the xdf definitions for the 6hp. It might be in the same place. 0 off 1 actual gear, 2 requested gear. I prefer 1 to see the gear charge when it actually happens.
If you want post your bin and I'll try to find it

Different structure. Damn. 8hp45 doesn't work its probably 16 bit or what not vs 8 bit
I'm still interested in a damos or better XDF. For example we have missing TCC maps.... 2nd kicks in late even when set early.
And no downshift maps, though XHP does do blip on downshift (3 to 2 I'd like to blip or slow down and have a TCC locked shift but smooth)

Hi guys. I really like how works alpina original software for gke195 (6hp28), so tried to adapt it for diesel (copied shiftmaps) and will be happy with his, also i found in calibrations whole rev limiter for engine RPM (thx for Murz's ols file for hint), so it can be used for exclude any overruns at all modes.

But as some ppl knows, in original alpina b5s software SPORT button didn't change tranny behavior, it only affects EDC suspension.
So question is in that, which bytes in calibrations control SPORT button behavior?

good news, now we found some interesting switches
1. sport button switch (btw in alpina this is ON)
2. sport button functionality determination
