Plenty of evidence that SCR system is still active with ecotune flash.. I realized this in June and I was told "you have a leaky urea injector" ... But what about the fluid pump noises coming from the rear of the car and if the injector was leaking wouldent it stop leaking after the supply line is drained.. Because it's not a gravity feed system it needs to have pressure behind it to fill that line..."the SCR system is tuned out Jess" Riggggght...

GreekboyD wants one. He was mentioning to me that the downpipe is so beautiful, that he wants to make a table lamp out of it.

I primarily posted for you TDI as you wanted to see it Rewelded. DOC is still in there of course. I'm gonna put it on instead of the downpipe. Gives me a chance to properly fix the downpipe and keep it as spare or sell it. A bit of back pressure should be good too. Plus no smell.

Ah, thanks. I've thought about going back to that setup too but the thought of wrastlin that beast into place makes me shudder. Although after I get my new 2 post lift fully installed it would make the process much easier. But drilling 7/8" holes in concrete isn't much fun either...

Hey those holes in the concrete go fast with a hammer drill.. Just make sure you use compressed air and get all of the debris out of the holes.. After sinking the bit to proper depth I blow out the hole with compressed air then run the drill back in the hole again without going deeper (just a clean up pass) and then compressed air again.. Then make sure you double nut those studs or what I did was welded double nuts to a bolt and threaded that onto the top of the stud.. Then hammer into the floor and move on to the next one

Thanks for the tips. I've drilled concrete before but this was the most difficult stuff I've tackled ... by a long shot. Previous owner who built the house was in the concrete business. He didn't under-design the garage floor.

DPF Gone

Have my new Downpipe and EGR block in place. Thanks to Jess, Dave and great info on this forum. Fit was excellent. Car ran fine for 10 mile test run, only noticed a wisp of smoke and the SES light. Shipping ECU up to Canada tomorrow, hope the holiday does not delay return. Wait, thats our holiday?
Happy Turkey Day!

FedEx Lost my ECU!

First hiccup in the entire tuning process. FedEx LOST my ECU! My local "country" drop center claimed it was picked up by driver yesterday but no scan was recorded. After filing claim today, turns out my local drop center was not versed in international shipping and made executive decision to put behind the counter. Then they forgot it was there! Package now in system and scheduled for Canada delivery tomorrow.
Whew!!
