To enjoy life you need to be fit. If you take the easy way life will be hard, if you take the hard way life will be easy. Or if you dont have time for diet and exercise put aside a lot of time for disease and disability.

I was being facetious. Point being, it’s the internet, we can be whatever we want to be.

Did everyone remember last night to have a sip on the 100th anniversary of that HORRIBLE mistake that Congress once made? I'm on call, but felt I must imbibe, at least one.

LOLed at news reference to the origin of "86"

Wild Range IPA. Very hoppy and bitter. Just the way I like it.

One of the best things you've said and I have heard not only here but anywhere in a while.

Thank you sir. Second part I've been repeating for a long long time. I'd rather pay now, and enjoy it to boot.

Tried some of this and I was amazed at the good/substantial difference between it and the regular.

Wow. Sounds like a bunch of quitters in here. I may take a rest day or de-load week but other than that I like to keep my liver well exercised just like everything else.

This was the latest buy and I like it quite a bit more than normal MM.

All these posts on Proper Twelve got my interest. I've never heard of it before, so I went to the their website to see where to buy and looks like I'm covered.

Between stores and restaurants, ~40 potential places to taste or buy a bottle in my neighborhood!

Question

I came across the following Whiskeys that have all recently won awards. Unfortunately, they are not available here locally in TX. But seeing how there are connoisseurs around here like me, maybe you can locate them in your area and try?

Gooderham & Worts Eleven Souls
Canadian Rockies 21yo

The 2009 Canadian Whiskey of the Year: Forty Creek 22yo Rye

Anyone?? I'm curious if it's worth putting in a special request for. Naturally I have to pay in advance.

No experience w/ those, but the few really old whiskeys I've had (>20yo) were pretty woody and leathery for my taste; I tend to prefer the 8-12yo range. If you like that, it might be worth the quest, but lately it seems that there is a lot of marketing hype pushing the oldies (and anything novel - seems like they invent a new bourbon brand every week).
