Drove it for the first time in 8 weeks. To say that it was blissful would be an understatement

Got a tire pressure gauge. Why is that a big deal? Because my tpms system said my tire was low the other day, took it to the station and their gauge said it was near zero. Pumped it up to around 32, which took a really long time and went on my way. TPMS lights up again so I get my new gauge and measure all the tires and the one I filled up was at 81psi.
Lesson learned: You can't trust the gauges at the gas station.

Had to order a new rear license plate bracket because I stripped the screw holes.

Protip: if the license plate screws don't fit, don't try to jam the closest size you can find. It might be an annoying experience years later when you need to swap plates.

Also I ordered Dr Colorchip. Going to attempt to fill the front plate bracket holes in with body filler. I guess I'll fill in rock chips this weekend too.

When I first got my car the dealer did this with their dealer plate and my temporary plate. They had huge screws that they just forced a little bit through to be tight. Luckily I was able to swap them out before it got damaged.

I used the VHT Nite-Shades spray paint. I purchased it from Amazon for ~$13.
Amazon link.
http://www.amazon.com/VHT-SP888-Red-.../dp/B005257R0O

It was a relatively easy DIY, most difficult/time consuming part is removing the taillights (removal is a must in my opinion) and then taping them up and getting them to match. Also the paint is very easy to get runs when spraying so be aware of ambient temperature and humidity as well the angle of the lights when spraying. I applied two 2 heavy coats and then a higher coat as I noticed it was becoming a darker "candy" red that wouldn't of matched. If I were to do it again I would probably make the visible clear area a little smaller. I did line it up with the lines in the taillight for a clean look and cut the tape with a surgical quality razor blade.

I think there is a cheaper option that is a decal vinyl type but I am very happy with the outcome and think it looks great up close and from afar.

On a side not it does block part of the lenses, thus constricting light output. I have along driveway that I have to back out of and maneuver around 2-3 cars and wish I had more rear light output almost every night I back out.

I have considered replacing the bulbs with a higher output LED if anyone has any recommendations.

I managed to install the factory alarm system tonight in only an hour or so. Very easy install I would recommend it if anyone wanted an alarm system. Cost me $291 from my local dealer for the whole kit but will need to get it programmed still to actually work. Think it's pretty cool that the whole lot will be way under the original price of the 1k factory option. I made the mistake of turning the car on to see if it works while I had the rear wheel still off. Now I have a Christmas tree on my dash and I'm hoping it eventually clears itself off.

Back to the run flats for the winter but on new MSW rims, which I kinda like better then my summer setup. MSW's are deep grey. Summer's gold with polished lip.

100 foot roll on ebay was $319. Its chinese and not avery or 3m. If I was to do it again I would not cheap out. Id get avery. Wasnt so much hard, but time consuming. Like one door with handle off to an hour. I wastched others do it in 5 min. Its the adhesive thatsucks and to sticky. You need prob 75 foot to be safe.

Mt-230 and factory mids on 4 channel. Factory mid-bass and sub on 5 channel bridged.
Trunk looks really clean! Can this setup be done using existing radio and not installing the pioneer hu?

Thanks! I'll probably go cheap the first time or just get a little and practice because I've never done it before. What all tools did you need if you don't mind listing them and is the door the hardest part?

I didn't spend a lot of time figuring out integration. My only desire was to get rid of all the factory stuff and not have any problems. To that end I have the SOS splash screen at startup and a tiny bit of ignition noise. I'm also sourcing some new mids, the factory ones really suck.

I'd contact Musicar NW, Sonus Car Audio or Unexpected Creations if you need help with an integrated, fully active system.
