it depends, what state you have your license in.

If you have a NJ license, then points do transfer back to NJ.

A NY license, they dont transfer any points back.

Except for Ontario and Quebec, points are not added to your NYS driver record if you commit an out-of-state traffic violation. Points can appear on your NYS driver record if you commit a traffic violation in Ontario or Quebec.

shit. I live in NJ. I got a ticket a few years back drivin up to Montreal for the Formula 1 race and got nabbed by a NYST 86 in a 55...luckily got out of it once I went to court, but was told that if I did get the fine, the points would have transferred
