Although the plasti dip didn't really hold up that well. Ended up getting the OEM shadowline trim. Much nicer.

Is there any place that I can pick up some Adams detail spray in the dfw area? Plan to clay my car Sunday and realized I don't have Enough detail spray for the process. Let me know, thanks.

I would normally recommend pro-tint, but after I got a quote that was 2x higher than my last guy I said no thanks. To make it worse, the guy at pro-tint said 'we charge more in the summer', I was like

F-that... price-gouging jokers!

If you have a garage, clean it up good and call up a mobile tinter. Best way to go imo, and they are always grateful for the business.

Pro-tint is too proud and spoiled, and for that reason too damn expensive because they are one of the few in the area other than Earmark car audio and a few other small shops.

Pro Tint did a good job on my car but insurance picked up the bill so I didn't know they overcharged. that's dumb.

I had my E39 done at Tritek and they did a good job. I think they're in Richardson IIRC.

How much do these mobile tinter's cost and how long does it take? I might take it to a shop since the mother might me if she knew how I was spending my money.

He'll cut you a better deal than most store/locations will. Lemme ask him what he'd charge you. E90 right?

cmyk I am feeling your pain, my car is at New Concept and it has been 3 weeks. They say they should be done in one more day, but they have been one more day'ing me for a week! I will report back on my quality experience when I see the car finished, but as of now I just miss my car.

I feel you. Mine was at Trade Secret for over 2 months (and still wasnt finished but there's no way in hell I'm taking it back there) so you're better off than I was haha.

I'll probably end up going to New Concepts to have them fix everything so let me know how it goes with them.

If they get it right the first time, I'll be shocked.

Another new guy here.... Just picked up a pre-LCI 335 Sedan this weekend...

Coming out of the Mazda world with my old Rx7 and modded turbo miata, but with a new baby needed another pair of doors.

Now it's a question of where to start.... Maintenance 1st, then more power!

Anyone here familiar with the Bavarian Autosport shop on 377 just North of 820? I drive past it and wondered if it was any good for those times I'll eventually run into something I can't tackle myself... Thanks all!

I'm about ripe for a plug change and the weather is finally compliant.

Does anyone have a plug socket I can borrow for a weekend?

Anyone have any 18" rear tires they need to get rid of? (255+) I just got my new wheels put on and I realized I'm down to cords in the back =/

On a related note. I've got some 162s for sale!

They did great work! Picked my car up this morning and all was well.

Can definitely recommend New Concept.

ordered the VRSF 7" intercooler today! I have access to a lift so I am hoping the install goes smooth.

Nice! I've been scoping that out myself, but trying to decide between 5" and 7" versions.

Ditto! I need to find some cash under the couch for some plugs and get mine done while it's still cool and before it gets cold!

Anyone going to C&C Saturday?
