contrary to popular belief, rebound does very little as far as handling goes. Most people dont understand and think that if they turn up the rebound on their coils, it will handle better because its stiffer, but its not. The main thing you need is COMPRESSION dampening, because compression dampening is loosely like adjusting spring rates (which is what most people think rebound dampening does, but it doesnt)

With the adjusting of rebound though, you do get to choose how stiff your ride is. Depending on what you need of course, you can adjust it to your liking.

Yes, you are stiffening your ride, but stiff does not = better. Do you know what exactly rebound is doing?

i've already realized that. i'm tellin u now. even tho u say u want dampening adjustability, u wont ever touch it after its installed. u're just kidding urself wen u say u will, but in reality, u wanna sound like u gettin somethin better wen u're really not. but its koo. y spend 550 on used coilovers wen u can get brand new ones w/ rebound adjustability for 1200+

i guess theres logic in there somewhere

I know that stiffer does not equal better handling, it's a very common misconception.

Rebound controls how fast the suspension extends, no?
