Yep fair bit of fabricating to be done plus tuning etc so 8 weeks will be pretty tight. I'll post pics as the project progresses. Looking at a 6466 or 9174 but will depend on what will fit

I love me a good 9174!.... what the fucks a 9174?

Back when i was a young lad - no one had heard of a precision turbo. It was either a garret or it was shit ... these both look impressive Socks. any particular power you have in mind?

Oh I see what you did there.... ok 1000 kw atw is maybe a bit of a stretch lol. I'd be happy with whatever I can get out of it on pump gas tbh... I think once the hpfp is maxed it doesn't matter how big the turbo is you won't make more power without E85 or PI

VERY keen to see how this goes.
8 weeks is nothing.
Had my GTR in a shop for over 12 months at one point...... mind you the motor was being rebuilt.
I would say if they are focusing primarily on yours, 8 weeks could be done, but i would expect more like 12. Especially since it is a custom trial and error thing with turbo sizes.
Will be epic either way

I hear you R32G. That said NYE was 8 weeks ago
It's s fair chunk of time when you think of it that way. No doubt will take longer when doing things for the first time, but my car is my daily so I can't have it off the road for 3 months or more. The team quoted 8 weeks so I'm going to hold them to an end of April delivery

What are you going to do for fueling and what fuel do you plan on running? Do you blokes down under have an E85 access? Or just pump & meth?

Good question Torg. Yep we have E85 here. I'm not upgrading fuel system atm Going to stick with pump gas so I don't expect gains to be huge as the hpfp will cap how many ponies we will get. Waiting for someone to come out with a hpfp upgrade or I might go PI down the track. Will get my stage 3 bucket put in just in case I end up going down this route
