Does anyone have the old V201 maps for 93 OCT?

I like the throttle mapping on those for when I'm doing my spirited driving the new ones are more linear but not as fun for a quick run.

Reflashes go off the DME logic so yes they should be load based GIAC is..I have asked the question whether COBB is load based.. b/c the boost is almost identical every run..a reflash has a range of boost depending on diff conditions.

BUT that was the only one example I saw.. it would be helpful to have a thread showing what boost and other data is being made with Stg 2 ..since we all know u have the datalogging capability to do it

It's ok for you to tune bash when you pay for the R&D and write your own tune

So i've been running the V301 Stage 1 Aggressive (Linear throttle) map on my car for a few hundred miles and its nothing but perfect in all aspects of a tune.

I tried the alternate throttle V2 map and didn't like it. Car felt stock unless you have the pedal down at least 50% or more.

Then i switched over to the same map but Stock Throttle version and boy this one is my favorite! Smooth but not too smooth where you don't get the turbo kick feel. This map is a keeper for me

Some unlucky G35 owner got COBB'ed by me over the weekend. He wanted to play so i obliged since the road was empty and all he could do is watch me put bus lengths on him in a matter of seconds. Had to slow down to let him catch up lol

You only gained 2 MPH? That makes no sense, it raises the limiter to 198 which is more than 2 MPH. How much HP did you gain? That's a better starting point.

Anxiously awaiting to receive my Cobb AP...

I was wondering if it is possible to use the diagnostic and datalogging features of the AP without installing the tune?

I tried Cobb Stage 1 and did not like certain aspects. I now have JB4 with Map 3 and methanol and I may add an ets fmic this week. Would Cobb work with the JB Meth kit? I might want to try Cobb again with the new tunes. So confused.
Any advice appreciated.

Dzenno is running the cobb with a jb4 on top to control meth and add a little boost up top. What was it with stage 1 you didnt like?

It's def not an "on/off switch" now lol, it's buttery smooth. Infact it's soo smooth that a lot of people actually miss the old throttle maps and go back to them.
I don't know Dzenno personally but he seems like a straight up dude and is doing great work for the platform. He has a thread on page one right now, if you were to PM him im sure he would be glad to let you know whatever you want

On off switch = Jb3. Cobb had its kinks but its worlds better now. I am loving Stage 1 Aggressive with Stock throttle mapping. (I've had all 3 major tunes before)

Yea, i got pretty used to the fact that you had 100% power at 50% throttle on the old maps. I am forcing myself to learn the more linear stage 2 maps. Probably saving me some gas money.

My MPG average has gone up significantly (17mpg -> 20mpg) since going from stage 1 standard to stage 2 linear.

That was the thing I noticed most between the two throttle maps.
