is there an issue with the left side of this bootlid? the right side (same as in the picture on the 1st page) fits pretty decently but the left side is raised up AND sticks out where the tail lights are. I've played with the bolts for hours and its not that i think the trunk is just warped a little or something. can anyone help me out or confirm that the left side doesn't sit as nice as the right?

None that i've ever heard of but certainly anything is possible. I'd tinker with all the bolts to gain full alignment. If your issue's persist don't hesitate to call us at 714 632-1951 for install suggestions or Vorsteiner directly with any concerns 800 601-7615!
