My Bird Day is in November. I must confess though, as much as I love to cook, I've never cooked a turkey. I have this paranoia about screwing it up and all anyone will remember is how bad my turkey was for Thanksgiving.

You should give it a try. I'll bet it would turn out great. Especially if you're an experienced cook.

With all the wild turkeys that you have around your place you should be an expert at cooking turkeys by now

Next year would be two, and then she'd have some experience at it.
