You use the spring clip thing to hold the bulb down.

If anyone is thinking about getting these, seems like the price is dropping. Saw a seller selling them for like $310 shipped.

I'm considering to pull a triger on these lights. What is a consensus on these lights - are they worth it? Any updates how they hold up? Any HID kits that are tried and work with these lights? Will they fit without issues on a M3 rep bumper? Thanks

They were worth it at $450 for me, so $310 is killer. Can't comment on HID kits because I have LED bulbs. My only recommendation is putting another bead of sealant where the lens and housing meet. My passenger side headlight fogs up after washing my car. They sent me a new one but it's too much of a hassle to install it. Whenever my bumper comes off again I'll put it in.

I was just wondering whether one could use the headlights advertised as "for E90 06-08" also for a LCI?
I always thought that pre-LCI and LCI headlights can be switched plugnplay.

I bought the lights, opened the box and applied clear hi temp silicone around the housing and clear light cover. Obviously water proof and such. Let it sit for a week before I installed them. Been through 5 hand car wash places and 2 rains and no issues at all

Finally got around to installing my H7 LED kit (one of my halogen bulbs went out anyway).

Fitment was tight, and the rubber seal doesn't fit around the heatsink/fan (will try to jig something together to resolve that), but finally did get them in.

Haven't driven with them yet, so no clue on light output (or even if I inserted them straight, I think one isn't but that stupid projector cutoff makes it hard to tell).

At least now my light output will be the same white as my rings!

I like these headlights, but I'm on a fence between this and circle/round AE ones on ebay. For some reason guys, I think round AEs suit e90 better, but on the other hand F series are all now with these kind of shape AEs. What are your thoughts?

Is there any difference between these headlights for 05-08 bmw PreLCI e90 than the ones for the 09-12 bmw LCI e90 ? The PreLCI headlights are way cheaper but They look exactly the same....

I looked this up, and owners said they swapped their preLCI headlights with LCI headlights directly, so I would guess they are the same

Hmmm, they look good on OPs car, but I'm debating between OEM LCI Halogens and these ones. OEM LCI has more classy look, but don't have LED AEs, while these ones have perfect LED AEs, but I'm afraid if they will look kinda like Honda rice a bit, no?
