I think nick mentioned earlier in this thread... he doesn't like to give out timetables... because we all know what happens when you lay out a timetable on this forum

But basically he thinks they should be done within a month or so, and then we're good to go. Unlike some other companies... no money will be taken until the exhausts are in hand and ready to ship.

I think yall are making a mistake by not offering an option for sections individually.

I'd say quite a few of us on the list (myself included) really only want a rear section.

If you were looking to buy the cheapest possible exhaust, then clearly this is not the exhaust for you. If you want an extremely high quality product at a very reasonable price, then this is exactly for you

In the end, it speaks for itself: No need for resonators or an x-pipe to control rasp/drone. The hand built mufflers + no slip joints means the most performance possible, the best sound, with none of the downfalls. You get what you pay for and more
So if I have a 200k car, that means I have to paid 20k for an exhaust system?
You and the vendors need to change your minds about if you paid 50k for you car you can afford our prices, c'mon.

Im not sure I agree with that. Again, Borla has been building exhaust for many years and they have a lifetime guarantee on their product. Yet, their exhaust costs less than 1g and thats normal pricing.

Along your train of thought, Im still pissed I paid almost $700 for exhaust on my Ducati since its hardly the production value of an 11 foot dual exhaust made for the 335. And my bike cost less than 10g, so that kind of throws off your comparison.

I didn't say the price should automatically go up exponentially with a higher priced car.* What I'm saying is if you want quality you're going to pay a little bit more (because it costs more to produce). Some people want to pay for GOOD quality, some people do not and that is clear. Nick said: we would rather sell less but have a great product that people know æ by, rather than trying to sell the most (lesser quality) exhausts possible.

*but yes, if you have a 200k (ferrari, lamborghini...), you will easily pay upwards of 10k for an exhaust.

I think that the price is competitive. Of course, as a consumer, we all like to see things as cheap as possible, but I think that the price fair. With that said, I still think that it sounds a lot like my CP-E, even after hearing the new clips, but that is a good thing.

You have a smaller production run of a much higher quality product, and of course it will cost more than a Borla exhaust

I've said it again and again... it all boils down to how the product is made. You pay more for a better product because it costs more to produce. Thats just how it works.

We all know there are really cheap alternatives out there. People who want to spend the least amount of money possible is not the target demographic here. We are all about quality first, and with top quality comes a higher price (which again, in the end... is still cheaper than many other "high quality" exhausts).

We could offer the sections separately, however, we have the entire system designed to be one piece with flanges, so it wouldnt work with the stock exhaust if we just sold the rears, it would have to be redesigned with slip joints. We may offer that eventually, but for now it'll just be the complete exhaust. The issue is we'd have to keep 2 different sets of mufflers on hand for the same car, when at this point its quite a bit easier to keep the complete system in stock how we have it designed.
