If my car was on the boat yesterday, should the VIN show up on the WW website when I track cargo? Or does it take a few days?

My car is on the Phoenix Leader on it's way to the Panama Canal. I was told by my dealer that I can expect to take delivery around June 20.

If you made the boat, the VIN shows up on the WW website in 24-48 hours. I'd say 48 is more typical.

im new to this forum but i ordered my bmw 335xi on 4/12/08. currently its in transit and my CA say its on PHOENIX LEADER, does anyone have information on that ship/vessel?

If you google the call sign (H9NY) and stuff like "NYK" or "Phoenix Leader" you can probably find some more about it. Maybe a current position or something like that. I'm glad I'm on the East Coast. I can barely stand the wait as it. I couldn't imagine another 2 weeks of shipping time!

I should be working, but I have the instant email notifications turned on. Every time a message pops up, I have to visit the site so it will tell me when the next one comes up.... Luckily I can start stuff and leave it run for a bit on my current assignment!

Danny: You can also search for a thread by a guy named cocoturkey. He signed up for the free 2 week trial of ship tracking software. He'll track your boat for you if you sign up when his subscription is over and track for him. there are more details in that thread about how to sign up and such.

I am in NorCal and I think we ordered around the same time:
Order accepted 4/29/08
Awaiting transport 5/19

Are you still waiting for a ship? My guy says we are keeping our fingers crossed for July 20th or there abouts, but from what I understand, even if I catch a boat today, we are still looking at 2-3 weeks on the water!

Oh, and I thought NYK was the only line to West Coast Deliveries, but someone told me last night that K-Line and WW go here too now, do you know anything about that?

Called 800# this morning and am still awaiting transport. However the Autoprestige is in port right now loading and I have a good feeling about it (honestly, I just like the name, it seems appropriate!)

You having any better luck?
