That was like 2hrs of the day though Paul and it was necessary to get the pics right and stuff and lets be honest the pics were spot on.

You're forgetting the piss-up at night, Santa Pod, general debauchery throughout the day and driving the cars as hard as we could at the national speed limit

That to me was EPIC and it was also over two days. Will try my utmost to get to the next one.

Was a very good weekend - well planned and all round enjoyable.

Smallest turnout that I remember though, which is a shame!!!

Great weekend!

This is just to say thanks to Paul (pjs) for sorting out the routes & maps, finding the pub & for just helping to make it a great weekend for everyone. The video footage will be 'manipulated' to the best of my abilities.

Also a big 'thanks' to Tony for sorting out the 'background' duties, including paying for minibuses, drinks et al. It was good to see you again, as always.

As ever, it was great seeing Matt (mjh93sa) again, who now remains the only member to have taken part in each & every UK meet, 1-9, so far. Thanks for sorting out the plate covers, as usual- just a shame they didn't get used.

It always puts a smile on my face seeing James & Tanya together, whether they argue or not.

Also a pleasure to meet Ed & Mandy again. the M3 is beautiful.

It was also nice to see Dougie & Mary again, who make a big effort to come down from Scotland. The M3 really does look like a beast.

Great to see 'Yorkie' Paul again too, Helen & Steve & Matt & Tracy, as always. Matt, you really should consider writing for 'Saturday Night Bullsh*tters' Monthly'.

It was also great to see Andrew & Vicky. You seemed to enjoy driving the DS3, that's for sure. Hope you enjoyed Meadowhall today.

It was a shame some of the 'regulars' couldn't make it, including Floyd.

Here are a few shots from the weekend. More to follow soon.

Viv

.... ruddy mods playing with threads as I was trying to post.

Great to see some old faces again and spend more time with some people who haven't been to many meets. The few dropouts were missed, just not the same without you guys.

Shame as well that no total newbies could make it. We're not that bad really. Also odd that there wasn't a single diesel there.

... a few pics, unless Viv's locked the thread again.

Took the very long way home, by taking a side trip to the Derwent Dam and having a wander around. Looked like a cyclist had come a cropper and the Air ambulance was in for a photoshoot.

It also meant another trip through highpass / sparrowsnot or whatever it was, damn shame.

Apologies to Dougie for the navigational issues .... it was all Tony's fault. The M3 does look the dogs danglies, bet you can't wait to get it properly run in.

Matt, "RagingAboutHashBrowns"Kileak.... words are not enough for the laughs that your rants gave us. That and the bravery shown in the face of 20+ women in bunny ears on a birthday bash!

So many more, Steve and Helen for the tales of -oop Norff, Paul for the bits of the route that Tone managed to find, James and Tanya for setting a sedate pace in the face of overwhelming average speed cameras, Tone and Viv for organising ... and anyone I've forgotten (need sleep).

Amazing drives, amazing roads and great to have the chance to just drive. It makes you fall in love with the car all over again. Lots of points earnt for the fuel burnt as well

No worries Viv, It was good to have you on board as co-pilot for a while! Seeing you trying to get out of the car without taking the seat belt off (twice) really did make me laugh

Plus the wife over-ruled me and decided to piss off to London with the skittle girls for the w/e whilst I was at home with the kids!

Great to see old friends and as Helen says really nice to blow the cobwebs out of the motors! Shame there weren't any newbies on this one - really hope the next one will have people making more effort. It is really good fun, I promise!

Loads of pics to process - will get on them later tonight.

Was desperate to come to this. Got screwed over by the work schedule in the end. Although I'm only technically a half-newbie, having met alot of you through EvoTechnik things and also the events that Carlos has organised.

I promise I will be at UK10 no matter what the cost

Looks like you all had a great time / good meet...

We will try and put together something a little more South-West. Probably in the Cheltenham to Bristol-ish area to allow people to travel via the M4 / M5. But it's going to take little squeezing in around the other dates for Northern Meets, ring trips and so on that are planned.
