To all who attended the "get together" today (May 14th) at Tim Horton's, I wish to extend my heartfelt thanks, as I enjoyed the company.
I had promised to post the url for the BMW Club of Ottawa, so whoever is interested can decide to join (if they wish).
I am not promoting the club (I am already a member), however, there are some terrific people in the club, and they admire BMW's of any vintage. All the members will share their knowledge, you just need to ask.

Ice Caps in the rain!

It was a fun drive in that weather yesterday.

I went to Calabogie this morning and watched the morning GT3 Cup race.
It was wickedly cold and windy. Shame the field was so small (6).

Number of interesting cars around, including a white E92 335is in the parking lot near where I parked.

That's a pretty nice winding road. The road surface is pretty decent also.

We are talking in context of Ottawa.
I grew up in Europe, the UK more specifically I'm sure many of the board members have driven some British tight winding roads.

There are still entertaining roads in Ottawa, just not of the same caliber.

Try Gatineau, though beware the dear

Drove Highway 1 from LA to SF this summer (in a rental

), what a drive. The roads around Big Sur are phenomanal to drive: adrenaline pumping for a solid hour or so. Would love to do it in a better car.

Well, with this water ban in Barrhaven, I cannot wash my bellowed car on my driveway and none of the local crap car washes work either, who do you trust and recommend for a decent car wash without fear of getting tons of spider marks?

No I haven't tried that but I am a bit skeptical; I do not trust it if I cannot use my pressure washer. Have you used it and if so, what was your experience?
