I don't think there was ever any claim that this would be a fix for the HPFP problem.

He is selling an upgraded fuel system for those that want more power.

And what about getting regular V5 to work as it should? I thought I paid for a working and bugfree product...

If this was my business, I would have posted much more general information and I would have spent as much time trying to figure out how to make it difficult to duplicate as I would developing this system upgrade. I don't blame him, he's passionate about improving this platform, eager to share, but he keeps getting slapped in the face by sharing his passion. This has been happening since 2006. A common issue in the business world.

I've been running V5 since it was released and never had any issues. You guys need to stop complaining. I don't miss autotuning at all. I simply run the boost I think I is right for my mods and the conditions.

So the standard port injection I mentioned a while back still seems to be too difficult?

Not one for old technology, but I am one for solving problems that just won't go away the simpler way...

EVO - Non DI - no problem
Supra - Non DI - no problem
STI - Non DI - no problem

On the vehicles mentioned above, upgrade the fuel pump or install 2 and you're good.

MS3 - DI - Problems
VW / Audi Platforms - DI - Problems
Bmw - Major fuel pump and DI (carbon related) problems as well

BMW M3 e92 - non DI?? Why would BMW have chosen this route on their race (top performing) vehicle, oh why?

Just saying...

Do a search for batch fire injectors by me. I suggested this already a while back.... No luck.

Never said that my friend. Direct injection in engines reduce heat losses, and thereby increase engine efficiency. BMW and every other modern Manufacturer opted for power/efficiency in their turbo engines therefor the D.I.
The new M5 is a D.I and also thats the word thats going around for the next M3. But lets not thread-jack

Agreed with everything you said, BMW designed this engine with power / efficiency in mind; hence why with the current fueling system it is not the best of a platform for great power levels i.e. (600 WHP+). Not that many are looking for that power level but I am sure someone or some company would love to do it, it is how eventually every other platform developed (with a lot of experimentation, (standalone ecu's, different fueling options and so on and so on). If the new m5 is DI, the new 650 is DI and probably the next M3 will be DI, then clearly there is something different in the design of those engines and the fuel pumps as I am sure BMW will not make the mistake of recurring HPFP failures again...

Not thread jacking, we are just discussing fueling... btw this thread doesn't seem to be going anywhere after so long of a silence. I would be very surprised if something even semi-magical came out of all of this.

Those complaining about Vishnu not releasing their research step-by-step have obviously never been in management or product development.

Finally read the thread.

Conclusion:

Mostly useless information, that's expected because people of all knowledge areas are excited.

Glad to see Shiv is creating a fuel upgrade, however not impressed as most people here with his logic in the initial thread and information laid out. I can only assume (and I'm sure this is correct) that he has much more information behind the scenes.

It is truly unfortunate that more proper information isn't spread, not just by Shiv, but by other "experts." These teaser type threads are absolute bull5hit because it's not a proper, full discussion; it's a sales tactic. I'd prefer either a constant flow of information throughout the threads or one final thread from bottom up (or top down depending on how you see this).

I'm not an authority, this is just my point of view on the matter.

Well once I get my turbo's they will have another local high HP car to help with the testing. Good things take time, we didn't need new fuel systems until recently where guys are commonly running upgraded turbos and nitrous. Atleast Shiv is taking the time to properly research the fuel system, not just throwing more voltage at it.

You think Shiv is the only one researching the fuel system? I'm sure this goes beyond the two most favored tuners yet, everyone here wants to defend the one they love and cherish so much.

I wish everyone would stop sucking the "you know what" of the developer they like and take a step back about advancing this platform. These tuner wars are childish.

Fact is, a developer promised they were going to provide information on their research on the fuel system of this platform and then backed out. I don't care what the reason is, that's just unprofessional

Backed out? He just recently said he's waiting on the kits to be done before he releases the rest of the information. You've waited this long what's another little bit of time? God damn! Some of you people are ridiculous, wait a little longer and all the speculation will be a stupid part of the past. I guess no matter what someone will find something to complain about to pass the time

Excuse me? No one "backed out". Shiv merely decided to hold off revealing all his testing/development data until the kits are ready to sell. The reason for this is pretty obvious. If releasing this data a couple of weeks later than a date that was never promised to begin with makes you upset, then we clearly have a different idea of what is professional or not. I quite sure the data that he provided already is more than any other professional has provided or even collected themselves.

Yeah I am still waiting for nitrous integration from a year and a half ago..Then I was Promised to get the wiring and documentation if I gave him a waiver that Vishnu and Shiv would not be liable about three weeks ago and I get an email that he would have the documentation and the rest of the wiring for the nitorus within a week, and still haven't recieved any emails pertaining to nitrous, now its almost going on four weeks!!! lol..JOKE...Its one thing to promise and deliver, its another thing to give empty promises after empty promises that are and were NEVER intended to be fulfilled, that is plain old bad marketing at its best..

Persons words to some people are more important than you think...its respect and trust from the community...I would be really pissed off if this new meth system is the only thing that will be integrated for the meth and procede in the future...Many of us still are using the old systems and if there is no support for it in the future, well thats left for another thread.
