I'm sure you all know this, but when you accuse your wife of getting curb rash on your 20 inch wheels on your $70k+ SUV, you better have video evidence, because she'll deny it until the day she dies. Must have been that ghost driver then, or perhaps a curb that jumped in front of her at the store...
Ivory interior w/ kids

Does sound pretty though.

I just realized that they added an extra day that the Freedom will be in Baltimore. It was originally scheduled to arrive Baltimore on 6/27 and leave on 6/28. Now it's scheduled to still arrive on 6/27, but not leave until 6/29.

The arrival date for South Carolina has been moved to 7/1 from 6/30.

7/1 is a Sunday, does anyone know if they unload on Sundays, or does this mean that our cars won't begin being unloaded until Monday, 7/2?

Delays, delays, delays.....

Btw, the Orioles play the Yankees in Baltimore on 6/28, do you think? nah....

That's great! Congrats.

The rest of us could use a pic or two to keep us going. That way we'll know that someone actually did get a car out of all this.

Just a little update on my situation - According to my CA, vehicles take 7-10 days after arriving at the port to get to the dealership, and the earliest he's ever seen was 7 days (which is hard to believe... but hmm) Also, I've talked to an ED/ordering/delivery-savvy CA from a nearby dealership (25mi) and he said that it's 3-4 days from docking to delivery.

So, I'm not too confident on the 3-4 days idea, yet... If that's the case I'll let it be a surprise!

Anyone call the 800 lately just to see what's up. I was En route the whole time the car was on the boat, but now it says I'm at the port awaiting transport? Will the status ever go to at the VPC?

I would count on the 7-10 day number. This is actually my second order this year and my first car (that I did not take delivery of) arrived in 9 days from drop off to VPC to the dealership. I'm also guessing that we may be on the higher end of the number since next week is a holiday week. Don't know about how it is where you work, but a lot of people are taking several days off or the whole week off (myself included...)

Yup, the company is throwing a BBQ on Tuesday for lunch, giving everyone $100, and closing up shop at 12:00 noon + paid half day. I'm taking Thurs and Fri off. Needless to say, we exceeded our sales record this month... lol

:rocks:

Hmm.. She should be out of the VPC before July 4th.. more like the 2nd or 3rd. And rest assured... The truckers will be driving on the 4th.

But yeah, I'm not getting my hopes up for a 3-4 day transit time. It'd be nice though, that's for sure.

Does anyone know where Freedom is right now? I'm still waiting for my AISLive logon info, and it's just killing me not to know where she is. On Monday, my CA told me to expect her in Charleston on 6/28, but an another post, and the ARC Scehdule revised 6/22, I saw that she's delayed in Baltimore a day.

she's docked in Baltimore. I can't post a picture while at work, but she got there last night. This morning was the first opportunity to start the unloading process. The schedule still shows a 7/1 arrival date in SC.

Hrm. The schedule said that NYC arrival was scheduled for the 25th, and it arrived on the 24th, and departed on the 25th. Maybe this will be the same case for SC - arrive on the 30th, depart on the 1st. Also, the original voyage had a 06/30/07 arrival in SC.

I hope you're right. The wait is killing me!! I already sold my e46 330Ci (I got a really good price), so I'm borrowing a friends car. I don't want to seem ungrateful, but the car sucks! I guess I'll enjoy my new 335i even more.

Sorry guys, but I'm afraid I win the award on this one. We sold our Honda Odyssey minivan, so I'm driving my Dad's beater that he uses to haul stuff, and basically abuse. Let me tell you it drives worse than it looks!

I refuse to park it in my spot at my office, I hide it out among the other cars. I'm sure whoever I park next to cringes when they see it.

But if you look in the background right over the hood, you can see the 6 series that belongs to the guy that we all rent from.
