FYI,

My OC states 'In transit to processing center'

Checked the cargo tracking and my VIN shows discharged on 12/17 @ 15:28.

I assume this means I am unloaded from the ship and am now awaiting delivery to VPC.

To all those who are dying waiting, I can only suggest to NOT post or look at posts until you get a call from your CA. I know this is not easy, but has been working for me (at least so far lol). At least try day at a time...............

A squeaky wheel sometimes gets ignored...................

Until that car is actually in my hot little hands, it doesn't yet exist for me...

Am in S.FL and am hoping for delivery most likely next Monday.......

It's definitely tougher for you given that you've already been teased!

I just confirmed with my CA. Taking a train out to the dealership at around 5pm tomorrow. He's going to be waiting at the train station to pick up me and my wife (hopefully not in my car!)

Ok, so now i'm curious... do they load trains at night for transit to VPC? How far is the VPC from port Charleston? I'm thinking I should have my ride by Friday or Monday if all goes well... opinions?

It would be cool... but I'll be out of town and would really prefer to take delivery Saturday and drop it off at the bodyshop.

Its so much worse than when I had ordered my 997S and waited FOUR months. Probably because I wasn't glued to the Rennlist forum or perhaps because I didn't find others who were tracking its every move to help fuel my anticipation (read: frustrations).

Almost the same when I ordered my 997 and waited 3 1/2 months. I almost forgot I ordered it until I got the call from Champion that it was in. This is different. Probably since the order time/delivery time is only 5 weeks and it can be tracked by us lay people..Go figure!!!

EDIT: Just received another email from my CA (which is probably sick & tuire of my emaisl - LOL): "it is going to hit the VPC today, we may see it before the Holiday's, I am keeping my fingers crossed, please do the same."

A little different than the original "Saturday" estimate.
