Sent my rbs back to rob to get rb stealths.

Should have been here by now but rob said he had a bit on leading up to Christmas.

Bought an ad engineering intercooler. Should be shipped in 3 weeks.

Emailed advan about getting my charge pipe altered. That will be mid January.

Rb hot chargpipe
Was waiting for a 2.5 inch agled to be made but the new intercooler will be made with straight 2.5 connection.

Note to be made, our hot chargepipes are squahed as. Seen some info on upgraded hot side chargepipes making extra 30 hp at 6500rpm on stock turbos with no tuning changes.

Port injection
Not happening yet

Just going to run Cobb with pump and e40 maps, nothing massive as Cobb only goes 20 psi and fuel limitations.

Hope everyone is liking my build.

I cant wait to get to the track in April.

Are you going to go ADE PI?

What tune will you go for eventually? MHD?

Not sure about getting pi still.
RBS inlets and e40 was a fair bit of power and I still had perfect fuel logs.

At the moment mhd can do a few extra things I want but its not worth having to pay any more money and have to learn how to use it.

30Hp at 6500 is worth the asking price!!

Where was this thread? And do you think the RB hotside CP will fit given the squashed space?

RE: PI choice - wait a little until you see my post in the next few days.

Not yet.

I havnt even got one.

I had the ATM intercooler which came up at 45degrees. Rb made them for intercoolers coming straight up.

Now I'm getting an ad engineering intercooler I can get the straight up chargepipe off rb.

I think I know what you have.

Hmm yeah refund time... Trouble is though what will you buy... The fmic you had would have been the 2nd best? Maybe order a Wagner?

How's the progress on your hotside charge pipes?

Charge pipe is at a fabricator, I asked him to do it within 4 weeks. (2 weeks ago )

I think this ad intercooler would be the last I buy.

The wagner competition evo 2 would be the only other choice for me or atm if it came up cheap.

If Andy said it would be 6 weeks i would have been fine but to say it would be shipped in 2-3 weeks then not reply after that day is a bit poor.

At least Rob replies within 24 hours every time , my recent toll parcel I thought were turbos was only o2 sensors..

Very dissapointed with Andys service.

I simply have emailed and asked if the intercooler has been made yet and when will it be shipped.

It has been over four weeks since i made first contact adn paid that day,hes lack of response is not on.

First he said he was sick for a week and hasnt been to work. (seen on his facebook he had a single turbo e90 in there garage that week)

he simply still has not replied truthfully to my emails.

Saying it might have been shipped already then saying its getting shipped today to now getting a tracking no pre order that has been sitting idle for 3 days or so.

This was supposed to be shipped on the 14th January.

Im not a happy customer!

Damn mate I was hoping to see an update on fitment etc by now....

Everyone get's busy at times, but when you start dodging a customers emails and making up excuses instead of telling the truth that's when it becomes fkn annoying...

Needless to say this scenario will make us guys think twice when considering any of his products

Will be very interested to see the result of the charge pipe. I'd love to get it done but really need a spare one to mod as I never like taking the car off the road.

Would need a competent TIG setup to weld it up right? Looks like its an aluminium-magnesium alloy.

Its two different metals.

Intercooler side is aluminium and I thought the other side was stainless but the fabricator put his mouth on the pipe and said it was just bright steel.

I work with structural steel but have no idea what it is or how to weld it so I let him do it.
